ೃ⁀➷ Oops!

It's Tuesday, 12:20 and the school bell has just rung.
Minho slowly got up and packed all of his things. He and Jisung agreed in spending some time together after lunch, so Minho went straight to the school canteen.
Normally Minho would say no, but since Jisung help him a lot last time when he injured himself, he felt like refusing was wrong.

Minho was on his way to the canteen, he was walking down the hallway when he stopped near one window, because he felt like looking at the school park. He looked out of the window and saw Jisung with a ball, it was orange so probably a basketball. He was playing with the ball, just running and jumping around like a little kid. Minho chuckled at that and he slightly leaned from the window.
"JISUNG!" he yelled. Jisung jumped from the shock and then he turned around to see who called him, he saw Minho leaning from the window and waved at him.

"I'll be there in a minute, okay? I have to get my lunch!" Minho yelled and Jisung yelled back "OKAY!" Minho just slightly smiled and continued in walking.
As Minho walked, he was looking through the school boards, just checking out some posters and stuff, but nothing interesting.

When Minho arrived at the canteen, he took his food and began to eat.
He was munching on his noodles peacefully and sighed in relief. "I was actually starving." He whispered to himself and continued eating.

After eating his lunch, he stood up and walked out of the canteen, he has to find Jisung. Minho thought that Jisung will be maybe at the garden lake, but he wasn't there. Minho later found Jisung in the school park, but far away from garden lake.

"Jisung, weren't you supposed to be waiting at the lake?" Minho asked and raised his eyebrow. Jisung didn't answer, he was... jumping to reach something? When Minho looked up, he finally understood.

Jisung was trying to reach his basketball, it got stuck in a tree. Jisung tried to reach it from jumping, but well... since he's not the tallest, it's hard to reach it.

"You can't reach it? It's not that high." Minho laughed and jumped for the ball, grabbed it and handed it to Jisung. Jisung just stared at him, since he tried so HARD to even reach it.

"Anyway." Jisung said. "Let's play, I don't want to play basketball alone." Jisung suggested and Minho sighed.
"What's wrong?" Jisung asked.
Minho just raised his hand, covered in bandage and Jisung immediately understood. "Oh, I almost forgot about it. Are your hands better now?" Jisung asked and nodded towards Minho's hands. "It's a lot better actually, it's healing quickly, but it still hurts." Minho said and Jisung nodded. "It's better if you rest your hands then. I mean, you can still at least watch me, right?" Jisung asked and Minho nodded with small smile.
"Let's go to the playground, there's a hoop." Jisung said and they both went to the playground.

"Lemme show you my skills." Jisung said and flexed off his 'skills', however it didn't really impress Minho and Jisung only recieved a big side eye from him.
Jisung tried to score by throwing the ball to the basket, but he failed.
"You hold the ball wrong." Minho said and picked up the ball. "You have to grab it and make a "T" with your thumbs, then let the ball just "slip" out of your hands and-"

Jisung laughed at him. "Your hands should rest, you're not gonna make it with injured-"

Next class is about to start, however - these two are still walking to the school building, Jisung is dribbling with his basketball and Minho is just walking beside him. "Hey, I wanna try something, could you pass me the ball?" Minho asked and Jisung nodded. He passed him the ball and Minho dribbled a little, threw it to Jisung and Jisung threw it against the school building, but his hand slipped.
You could hear a sound of shattering glass - that's the moment they realized they messed up.
Jisung accidentally hit the window of Minho's teacher's office.
"Shit, what should we do?" Minho panicked and turned around, but... JISUNG WASN'T THERE???
Minho turned around in confusion, did he really ran away?
"Hey, who was it?" A teacher looked out of the window and saw Minho. "Minho?"

Here he was, Lee Minho, sitting in his teacher's office once again. The teacher was outside the office, waiting for Minho's mom to arrive. Once Minho heard footsteps, he raised his head to see his mom entering the office.
His mom sat down and so did teacher, who walked in right after Minho's mom.

"What did he do this time? Is he ignoring the teachers again? Is he spacing out a lot? Or did he cry in class like last year?" Minho's mom asked, but the teacher calmed her down.
"No, miss Lee. It's something else." The teacher said and Minho's mom carefully listened.
"This afternoon, Minho threw a ball at the window and it broke. Normally, I would be pretty mad, but in this situation I'm not, and you shouldn't be either." The teacher said and Minho's mom had no idea what is she talking about, but the teacher explained it.

"Minho's behavior has changed a lot in past few weeks. His grades got better, he's actually paying attention in classes, he's working on his homeworks and now? He may have broken the window, but he's playing like a kid in his age should be. He's getting better and better each day. I know, he broke the window and you probably will have to pay for it, but don't be mad at him for it. Try to look at it from this side."
The teacher said and looked at Minho, who slightly smiled.
"Is it true? I'm sorry, he didn't tell me anything." Minho's mom said but then she smiled. "I'm glad then." Minho's mom sighed out of relief. "I'm glad you're getting better, but telling me by breaking the window isn't the best way." His mom said and Minho laughed a little.
"Sorry. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again." The teacher and his mom exchanged looks and smiled. He's really getting better.

Minho's pov

Yeah, I didn't want to expose Jisung, so I said I did it by accident.
He took care of my injury after all, I owe it to him. This is the smallest thing I can do for him.
To be honest, I am terrible afraid of blood. I mean, I don't mind it seeing it in movies or anything like that, but seeing myself bleeding is something else. When I fell on that glass, I already knew that I won't be able to do anything with it, thank god Jisung came and helped me with it.

From that day, I tried to be nicer to Jisung, he somehow found a place in my heart. I know, he's annoying, but not in a bad way. Maybe having friend like him is not bad...

Mom and my teacher were signing some papers about the broken window and they were talking to eachother, so I just sat there in silence. I mean, I feel bad for mom, because she has to pay for it, but I really owe it to Jisung.

I was looking around the teachers office, when I noticed familiar face watching me trough the glass door - Jisung.
He bowed as sorry and he even mouthed a little "Sorry". I just shook my head, smiled and mouthed "It's okay". Jisung then bowed once again and silently left.
