The next morning, Maya woke up an hour early than usual. Riley was still asleep, so she started to get dressed before anyone else.
Meanwhile at the Duncan's....
"Who is it?" Teddy sleepishly opened the door
"Teddy." Spencer smiled, which immediately woke Teddy
"Spencer." Teddy hugged him "What are you doing here?" She asked
"I was around town and, I saw Skyler and she told me you guys moved in here." Spencer said, as he was gestured to come in by Teddy
"I'm sorry I forgot to tell you we moved here." Teddy apologized, sitting down the couch with Spencer
"Its fine." Spencer caressed Teddy's cheek
Spencer and Teddy leaned in together, and kissed. They parted and smiled.
"You wanna stay for breakfast?" Teddy asked
"No need, I should be heading back to my hotel. I'll be on my way home tomorrow, wanna go out tonight?" Spencer stood up, and walked up to the door
"I'd love that." Teddy gave him a hug
"See ya later, Teddy." Spencer hugged back, opened the door and left
Back to the Matthews...
Maya was still the only one awake. Well who else would wake up at 4:55 am?
She already took a bath, brushed her teeth, changed, and even ate a small amount of breakfast, yet no one is awake. So, she decided to go home for a sec.
"Where you been, Maya?" Gammy asked, sitting on the couch as she knitted
"Matthews, Riley suggested I sleep over." Maya answered, entering the door
"Okay." Gammy nodded
Maya headed to her room, and laid down her bed. She opened up her sketchpad, and started to spill out the things on her mind.
Maya drew for an hour and a half, and she was quite proud of what she did.
Maya smiled. She was about to lay back down, when a loud tap was on the window.
"Gabe?" Maya said surprised, as she stoodnup and opened the window "What aren you doing here? How did you get here?"
"Do you need to know?" Gabe went in the window
"Uhm, yeah." Maya pointed out
"I tracked your phone, plus, I saw you out the window while I was looking for you." Gabe said, as he sat down on Maya's bed
"Oh." Maya sat beside him "Then, why were you looking for me?"
"You ask a lot of questions, don't you." Gabe said
"Just answer me already." Maya rolled her eyes
"It was for no such reason, I just wanted to see you." Gabe told her
They smiled at each other. Having a long moment of silence. It wasn't awkward or anything at all, but it just showed how mesmerized they are with each other.
"Maya, dear, I'm on my way to bingo. I'll be gone the whole day." Gammy yelled, snapping the two out of their trance
"Okay." Maya yelled back
"Who's that?" Gabe questioned
"That's Gammy, my Grandma." Maya stood up, and took her bag
"Where you goin' now?" Gabe asked, as Maya was about to leave the room
"To Riley's. I always pick her up by 7:00, and since its 6:40, I better start walking to her house by now." Maya and Gabe went out of Maya's Apartment unit, and started to walk to the Matthews
"Doesn't it bother you to wear heeled boots?" Gabe questioned, as they passed through by the busy people of New York
"No, I'm used to it." Maya took a turn to Riley's apartment street
Gabe just followed her. He was so fascinated by how Maya climbed up the back railing to Riley's bay window.
"Maya, I thought you slept over last night, where have you been?" Riley asked, as she brushed her hair
Maya and Gabe went in "I woke at 4:30 am, for yet no reason."
Riley turned around, surprised to see Gabe with Maya.
"Hi Gabe." Riley waved
"Sup." Gabe nodded, placing his hands in his pockets
"Is my family going to adjust to this new addition?" Riley crossed her arms
"What?" Maya said confused
"You'll get what I mean." Riley gesured the two to follow her
Riley sat down at the bench, yet again gesturing the two to sit down.
"Mr. Duncan, surprising to see you here." Cory said
"Not really sir." Gabe said back
"State your intentions young man." Cory set aside the newspaper he was reading
"Uh." Gabe stammered
"Oh give it a break Mr. Matthews." Maya interrupted
"If its my daughter, then get out!" Cory stated
"Dad!" Riley yelled
"And if its Maya, get out!" Cory continued, pointing to the door
"Really Matthews?" Maya rolled her eyes
"I'm father and godfather, its my responsibility." Cory pointed out
"Well then sir, I'm here for Maya." Everyone had eyes on him, even Josh came out the guest room as he heard
"What." Maya's eyes grew wide
"Uh oh." Auggie mumbled
"Get out!" Cory pointed out the door
"Cory." Topanga tried to stop Cory from failing to pull out Gabe out the house, the kid has more strength than the man
"Mah brother." Josh walked over "I'mma help you with that." Josh successfully pushed Gabe out, and locked the door
Gabe chuckled and went back to their apartment unit.
"Really Josh? Did you have to do that?" Maya glared
"My brother's breaking his bones, pushing him out, is it wrong I helped him?" Josh excused, though he did it coz of something else
Maya had her eyes glaring at Josh, and Josh were intrigued by the way how serious she looked
"Okay, let's go, we don't wanna be late." Riley stood up, pulling Maya with her out

"FYI, I'm no Matthews." Maya pointed out
"I know, its just that you grew close to m family a little too much." Riley tried to calm her down, as they walked in the subway
"Ladies." Farkle greeted
"Farkle." Riley said back, Maya frowned leaning on the pole
"What's wrong with her?" Lucas asked
"Long story." Riley sighed, sitting beside him
"Maya."
Gabe ran in to the subway.
"Gabe." Maya's frown faded
"I wanna talk to you, later, deal?" Gabe held unto the pole Maya leaned on
"Sure." Maya nodded
"Ooh." Riley mumbled, putting up a smug face

Teddy walked around the halls of NYU, absorbing all the new surroundings.
"Hi Teddy." Skyler greeted
"Hey Sky." Teddy walked up to her "So, this is how it feels to be at NYU, huh."
"Yeah, its a pretty big school, I got lost the way here." Skyler said, as she and Teddy started to walk aroaround
"Well, it'll take long till I get used to this." Teddy sighed, but smiled
Meanwhile in Auggie's school...
"Everybody, this your new classmate, Charlotte. Everyone say hi." The teacher said
"Hi Charlotte." Everyone greeted
"Hello." Charlie said back
"Now Charlotte, why not tell us something about yourself." Teacher said to her
"Call me Charlie, I'm 6, and I wanted to mail my brother to Antarctica when I was 4." Charlie grinned
And everyone laughed.
"Uh, okay. Take a seat there to Auggie please, Charlie." The teacher pointed out to the empty seat next to Auggie
"Okay." Charlie responded, and did as told
Auggie smiled at her as she sat down beside him.
"Don't worry, one time I told my Mommy and Daddy I wanted a little brother because my older sister Riley ignored me a lot." Auggie whispered, then they both giggled
Later on at John Quincy Adams Middle School...
"Okay, we had a LOT of set backs, now should we REALLY learn about what happened in 1831 at Belgium." Cory stood up
"No!" Farkle protested
"Why again, Farkle." Cory sighed
"Something will come up, I'm telling you!" Farkle stood up, pointing out what he meant
"Farkle, I'm pretty much sure we'll get through it this time." Cory calmed him down "Sit down."
"Ugh." Farkle groaned, sitting back down as told
"Okay." Cory wrote on the chalkboard "In 1831, Belgium-"
"You should really put directories in your hallways."
The door flew open.
"Another new student." Cory put the chalk down
"Sit Down!" Farkle yelled
"Shut it, Turtleneck." The new girl hissed
"Hey! Nobody hisses up on Farkle, but me!" Maya said
"Where's your slip kid." Cory said, as she handed her slip "Joanne Heather Keener."
"Jo to cut short." She said, looking around, atenttion caught by the boy at the corner right "Gabe Duncan. Surprise to be seeing you here."
"Jo, I thought you and your family left forever?" Gabe questioned
"You know this Joanne, Gabe?" Riley asked
"Yeah, we know each other better than well." Jo narrowed her eyes
"What happened when we were 12, stays at us being 12." Gabe glared
"Stop you guys, take a seat Ms. Keener." Cory interrupted, as he pointe Jo to a seat at the back near Farkle
"Maya, I sense something's wrong." Riley whispered
"You're telling me." Maya rolled her eyes, and glanced at Gabe who gave her a smile
"Okay, in 1831, Belgium-"
Cory was interuppted by the bell ringing
"Agh!!!!" Farkle shouted, putting his head in his shirt hole and banging it on his desk
"Boy, you got problems." Jo said coldly walking by Farkle
"I don't like her already." Lucas shook his head, calming down Farkle
"So Gabe, you knew Jo?" Maya asked
"Yeah, me and Jo go way back 2 years ago." Gabe nodded
"Was she always like that?" Riley asked as well
"We were the bullies in class, I guess she still is in this case." Gabe sighed, putting his hands in his pockets
"I will never know whatever happened to Belgium!" Farkle cried, making everyone laugh

Hey you guys! Sorry to keep y'all waiting, I had a rough week in school. But hey, here you are reading this, meaning I've updated. So a little filler chap here, not MUCH had happened, besides the fact Jo came and, ooh Spencer. So ya, keep on the look out.
