Y/N's Perspective

Charles thought it was a good idea to head to Hogsmeade. I however, did not agree. I wanted to freshen up and get rid of the terrible Azkaban remnants that remained on me, but I did not want to be seen by anyone yet. I eventually agreed to go.

We apparated to Hogsmeade. Just outside of the entrance by The Old Fool. It was about 7pm when we started to walk across the bridge. It was dark enough that most students would be back at Hogwarts by now. I saw a few townspeople I recognized but no one that would necessarily recognize me. At least not in the state I am now. I figured that talking to Sirona would be my best option, so we made our way to The Three Broomsticks.

The worst part was getting past Zonko's, as I figured that if any students were still at Hogsmeade, they would be at Zonko's. I don't know why I am so nervous to be spotted by anyone. They will all see me tomorrow in school.

We walked into The Three Broomsticks through the side entrance. It was pretty empty, with a few people still enjoying a late butterbeer.

Charles went to grab Sirona, as I pointed her out to him from above. I stayed upstairs, watching him retrieve her. I overheard Charles tell Sirona that someone was here to meet her. As she walked up the stairs, my heart pounded. As she looked up at me, my chest sank. I started to tear up.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?" She said smiling. She walked over to me and gave me a hug.

"I am no longer a prisoner of Azkaban." I whispered. I don't think I even believe that. I still feel like one, not wanting to be seen by anyone.

"Merlin, I don't know what to say. I think we should head to my cottage so you can speak freely." She said. "I will end my shift early. This is more important."

As she walked down the stairs and waved off the patrons, I sat and waited by the back door. I hoped that no one would question why Sirona was leaving early.

She walked back up the stairs, hurrying me out the door.

"We need to get you some real clothes. This jacket won't suffice. Stay here, I'll go into Gladrags and grab you something." Sirona said, then left.

A few minutes later, she walked out with clothes in her hands, handing them to me.

"My cottage is just this way, it'll be quick." Sirona said.

"Charles, I'm safe now, I trust Sirona with my life. She will get me prepared for tomorrow." I told him.

"Are you sure? I'm not busy, it's actually after hours for me now." Charles told me.

"No honestly I'm fine. Thank you for everything. We will be in touch. You know where to find me if you hear anything." I said.

He apparated away.

On our walk to Sirona's, I told her everything. Every detail I could remember. The only thing I left out was my horrific dreams and some things about the way I was treated in Azkaban. I told her more than I told Charles.

She was in shock. She told me she knew I wasn't a criminal, and she did not allow the paper to be distributed in The Three Broomsticks for the first month of my prison time. I appreciated that, knowing that she did what she could. Unfortunately, The Three Broomsticks is not the only place that people read The Daily Prophet.
