A/N: I describe Springtrap the way he looks in the Comics, but I do take a little creative liberty bc I just think he looks cooler with a missing ear tbh

" You ever heard of David Bowie?"
" Who?"

You and Deliah were sitting in your old room, going through a large box to find a movie to watch in the living room, and You had found one of your favorite movies near the bottom of the box; a Musical featuring David Bowie and various puppets created by the Jim Henson company.

" David Bowie? He's a Singer..? Have you seriously never heard of him?" You quiz, but Deliah was really more focued on the fact that Springtrap was doing that thing again; just peering in the doorway ever so slightly. It was honestly getting creepy..

" Uh... No..? I-I don't think so." Deliah answers you, making you scoff and stand up. " Dad hasn't been raising you right. Come on, we're watching this."

Springtrap darted back before you faced the doorway again, and he loomed in the hallway before scurrying off as you and the girl went back into the living room.

Deliah glanced over to look at Springtrap as he darted back into the kitchen. Springtrap had always been wary of visitors, but he always made his presence known, what was different now? Why was he trying to hide this time?

Before Deliah could think about Springtraps odd behavior anymore, the phone rung from the kitchen.

" I-I'll get it!" Deliah immediately offers, heading into the kitchen before you could even think.

She shuffled into the kitchen and walked past Springtrap, who was leaned in the corner with his arms crossed and that blanket still around his shoulders.

" Aw, You should've made them come and answer the phone." He says, feigning disappointment as he trails behind Deliah to the phone. He really just wanted to scare you, you seemed like an easy target.

" No." Deliah whispers to him, trying to get him to shut up before she answered the phone. It was Nick on the other side, but Springtrap didn't bother to listen in on the conversation, instead opting to resume his job of peeking out of the doorway to stare you down while you were none the wiser.

You were knelt down in front of the TV, trying to remember how the VHS player worked with the movie tape in hand. You hadn't watched VHS tapes in a while since Vincent had a much fancier DVD player that you had gotten used to.

Springtrap glanced back over at Deliah, who was facing the other way as she spoke to Nick on the phone, before the animatronic threw the blanket off his shoulders, letting the fabric bunch up on the kitchen tile as he steps out into the living room.

His heavy footsteps were muffled by the carpet as he eyed you the entire time, circling around you until he was right behind you.

A soft noise was heard behind him, and with some soft mechanical noises, Springtrap turned his head a little to spot the Baby from before. His eyes narrowed as he observed the thing, it having been left on the floor atop a Blanket with a few large toys and chewables.

Springtraps eyes narrowed a bit more as the baby dropped a rubber squeaky toy and kept babbling nonsense, making grabby hands for the giant bunny. Springtrap almost wanted to scoff, but he kept quiet and simply turned back around to look down at you.

It was amusing how you were so focused on trying to get the vhs tape to play that you didn't even notice the shadow looming over you.

" This damn thing.." You mutter, finally getting it to work as you sat back, your back almost touching his legs.

Oh, this was so fun for him. He hasn't felt this much excitement about startling someone since...

That didn't matter.

A few old trailers for movies that had already came out played, the footage was all grainy and glitchy, but that was to be expected.

After each trailer, the screen would momentarily cut to Black, and You hadn't noticed him in the reflection behind you, nor did you notice that each time it cut to black, he would lean down a few inches.

It wasn't until the last one cut to black and you saw his head hovering right over your shoulder.

Deliah had just hung up the phone when she heard your scream, and when she turned around and spotted the blanket that Springtrap had on the floor, her heart sank. Of course he would try to do something when she turned her back on him.

You had scrambled off the floor and ran past the kitchen doorway just as Deliah stepped out to see what had happened. Your first instinct was to, of course, grab the baby off the floor, holding it protectively to your chest as it starts to cry from the suddenness of your actions.

Springtrap had backed away when you got up and ran, so now he was just standing by the TV, chuckling to himself as if this was the most hilarious thing he'd ever done.

" Springtrap—!" Deliah started, walking out of the kitchen to scold the giant bunny, only to be stopped by your hand grabbing her wrist.

" Deliah, don't go near that thing!" You exclaimed, trying to pull her over to you.

" N-No, No! It's fine! It's just Springtrap, He's friendly!!" Deliah tried to calm you down.

" Friendly?! " You snapped, feeling a sense of dread was over you as Springtrap got closer to look over you once again; He was an ugly greenish-yellow color, he was missing half an ear and had a 'scar' over one eye (it was really just a tear in his suit that resembled a large scar), not to mention that his face was made so that he was permanently grinning and the fabric around his teeth had almost completely withered away. His fur was matted, but there were some parts where it looked like it had been brushed out and fluffy. He was also missing a few chunks here and there, especially on his fingertips and feet where it was just his endoskeleton poking out.

" I'm very friendly."

You let out a short, fearful gasp and used your free hand to grab onto Deliahs shoulder, gripping her tightly. You hadn't even noticed that your baby had stopped crying upon Springtrap getting closer, nor did you notice it's little chubby hands trying to reach out to the Robot.

" U-um.." Deliah murmurs, putting her hand atop yours as your nails were starting to dig into her shoulder. " Springtrap, why don't you go make some Cookies?" She insists, trying to get him to leave the room as quickly as possible to get you calmed down.

Springtrap glanced down at the girl before his eerie, deep purple eyes were back on you. Deliah felt your grip get tighter.

" Now." She urged, and Springtrap rolled his eyes, placing a hand atop Deliahs head and ruffling up her hair before he trudges back into the kitchen, still slightly chuckling to himself over the scare he had gave you.

A/N: I swear these chapters feel longer when I write them in my Notes app lmao, ig I never grew out of the habit of writing only a little over 1,000 words
