"GOD DAMNIT ETHAN, YOU HAD ONE JOB!" I slammed my hands on his desk.

Ethan frowned, holding a small office doll his little sister had given him. "Be careful," he warned, "you'll scare Mr. Philomena."

I could tell that Ethan cherished his sister and that the doll was important to him, but it was starting to get on my nerves. As much as I wanted to yeet the doll out of the window, I resisted controlling the urge.

And Philomena, the fuck? Who names a doll Philomena?

"ETHAN THE CCTVS" A growl rumbled through my chest

"Stay calm," Ethan said. "It wasn't you they caught, just a petty thief."

"They still blamed it on me. I am who they want" Frustrated I plop myself on the nearby couch.

Ethan's reassuring words did little to quell the anxiety that had taken hold of me. I knew that the authorities had caught someone, but the fact that it had happened so close to my involvement in the matter made me feel uneasy.

I need to get hold of The Nemesis. I thirst their blood.

Ethan turned his rolling chair to face me and asked, "But man, why are you taking the subway? Don't you already own an fucking Porsche?"

I stood up from my seat and walked towards the coffee machine. "Well, I find subways to be quite comfortable, and they offer a very unique view." Ethan nodded, "Really? Maybe I'll have to give the subway a try sometime."

I smirked. "Definitely give it a try. You might be surprised at how enjoyable it can be."

"Still no evidence?" I ask looking over Ethan.

"Nah, these fuckers really know how to hide stuff well," Ethan says.

Rage and frustration fill me up. I just need to get out of here and find some peace. So, I head out of my house and make a beeline for my piano - the only thing that can calm me down.

I know it was pretty dumb to leave my piano outside, especially since I have plenty of space inside my house to keep it. But, I just can't resist playing in the beautiful location where it's situated...

The Veilstalk lake.

I sit on the piano bench the cold wood seeping through my skin.

Today was one of the shittiest days for me. I woke up with a headache, probably due to the drink I had the day before. While I was stumbling around, I accidentally broke my favourite cup, which caused all of my coffee to spill onto the tracking device I had just finished making. As if that wasn't enough, I was falsely accused of being a criminal when I had nothing to do with it.

To clear my mind, I rely on music. Its soothing melodies help me forget my worries and enjoy the moment. But there is another way that I find peace - watching her sleep. My little rabbit. As she lies there so calm and serene makes me want to fuck that innocence out of her.

She is mine, I am so overwhelmed with her that I can go down on my knees to worship her. She is, without a doubt, the most precious thing I put my eyes on and I am the type of person who never bows in front of anybody.

She is nearby and I can go to her but I won't, not today.

I look at my watch, 11:59 pm exact. My fingers hover over the keys before I start playing.

Midnights. They are the best.

It's so peaceful in here, no one to disturb at all just me and nature. My regular playing of music is like a daily dose of nicotine, at least it keeps the humans away.
