It is the color —no, the taste— of oranges. Whether on the streets on in the supermarket isles, the oranges never tire of reminding you of their existence in the city, but what truly makes you remember them once you're out of town, is the Valencian water, or say, agua de Valencia, a type of cocktail mixed with freshly squeezed orange juice and vodka. The place most ideal for having a taste would be in Café de las horas, a bar in the city center, a corner away from the Plaza of the Virgin. Normally, Spanish people prefer to have a drink out in the sun, despite the burning temperature; however, the interiors of the bar is so magnificent that you can't help but take a seat inside. When you look at the paintings, taste the alcohol, remember the sea salt and the waves in between your toes, the only thing on your mind would be to stay, or contemplating the idea of staying. Of course, that's what we call the charm of the Mediterranean Pearl.
