Today, as promised, y/n, shizune Toji and Megumi came to visit tsumiki.

"Hare she is"

Toji said. Y/n could visibly see how Toji and Megumi were uncomfortable around each other.

Y/n rolled her eyes at them.

She then went and checked tsumiki. Looking back at the father son duo, she said

" I can break her curse."

Both of their eyes waiden. Megumi came to her holding her hand on his

"Please, Itadori-sensei. Please break her curse. I have so many regrets. I have treated her so badly when all she ever wanted was to help me. Please sensei, make her wake up. I will do anything you say."

He said. The desperation present in his voice. His eyes were light and watery.

Even Toji was surprised, he had never seen Megumi so desperate for anything. He had never seen him cry. He was just staring at him with wide open eyes.

On the other hand, y/n's eyes soften.

' this child has been beating himself for so long for his sister. All these regrets are bolted in him. Poor child. He doesn't deserve any of this.'

Y/n thought

With a gentle smile on her face she pulled Megumi in for a hug. Tightly imbracing him

Both Toji and Megumi gasped.

She gently combed her fingers through his spiky raven locks. With a gentle voice, she told him

"You don't need to give me anything, My sweet child. But please stop blaming yourself for something that you had no control over. You were a mare child back then. Made some mistakes. That's alright. I am sure she will forgive you too."

As she kept saying these to megumi so gently, megumi's cheeks warmed up. He subconsciously leaned more into y/n's maternal warmth.

Y/n continued

"But I will ask something from you. It's a request. Will you keep it?"

He nodded, still into her imbrace.

" I know the relationship between your father and you isn't great. You have good reason to hold a grudge against him. But he made some mistakes in his past. Just like you did with your sister. He himself had a rough past, my dear child. He did what he thought was the best for you. You know how the zenins are, dont you? They tortured him all his life. He didn't know how to parent. His beloved died while giving birth to you. And he never had a proper family. Just understand this."

Y/n sighed again. Holding him even closer to her

"All I am requesting is to hear him out. I am not forcing you to forgive him, I am just saying to sit down and talk. His your father, I don't want you to be forever hostile to him. Life is short, child. I don't want you to loose the father's love because of this stupid old ass grudge. You're like my son Megumi. Just talk to him after this, will you keep this request?"
