Scarlett's voice, gentle yet unwavering, stirred Felix from his restless slumber. He blinked in surprise, the edges of his vision blurred by unshed tears. As he realized his sister was really there, by his side, he couldn't contain the overwhelming rush of emotion that swelled within him. In an instant, he threw his arms around Scarlett, clinging to her as if she were his lifeline, and he sobbed uncontrollably.

"I've been so tired, Scarlett," Felix managed to say between choked sobs. "I've tried to be strong, to be brave, because of who I am. The younger brother of the Goddess of War. But it's been so hard, so terribly hard. I've felt alone, so fragile, like I couldn't bear the weight."

Scarlett held him tighter, her own eyes shimmering with compassion. "You don't have to bear it alone, Felix," she reassured him, her voice a soothing balm. "I'm here now, and I'll always be here for you, to protect you, just as our family always has. It's okay to be… ."

Before she could finish her comforting words, Felix's trembling body grew limp, his cries subsided, and his eyes drifted shut. His fragile state, compounded by the emotional turmoil he had endured, caused him to succumb to unconsciousness.

" Felix …  " She screamed,

With a mixture of concern and determination, Scarlett carefully placed her younger brother on the bed, ensuring he was comfortable and safe. She leaned over, gently kissed his forehead, and whispered fiercely, "I promise you, Felix, I will bring you the peace you deserve. No one will ever hurt you again."

The doctor, Dr. Harrison, rushed down the cold, sterile hospital corridor. His white coat billowed behind him as he reached the ward, and his eyes widened in shock when he saw Scarlett by Felix's bedside. The lines of his face tightened with a mixture of concern and frustration.

Dr. Harrison pushed open the heavy door with a sense of urgency, the metallic hinges creaking in protest. His gaze fell upon Scarlett, who stood like a sentinel beside Felix's bed, her eyes ablaze with a fierce determination that sent shivers down his spine. He knew he had to address her breach of Alpha Black's orders.

"Scarlett," Dr. Harrison's voice was a mixture of authority and worry. "You know very well that Alpha Black's orders were explicit. You should not have come here. It's not safe, for you or for Felix."

Scarlett, her lips set in a determined line, didn't back down. She met the doctor's gaze head-on, her defiance tempered by her unwavering love for her brother. "I understand the risks, but I had to be here for Felix. I'll face the consequences, but I won't let anything happen to him again."

Dr. Harrison, unable to contain his frustration, made a sudden, reckless move. With a swift lunge, he attempted to physically remove Scarlett from the ward, his hand reaching out to grab her arm. However, he had gravely underestimated her strength and agility.

Scarlett, in a split second, reacted with a lightning-fast agility. She sidestepped his grab and, with a resounding kick, sent the doctor sprawling to the floor. Dr. Harrison's glasses went askew, and he lay there in shock, his well-pressed white coat crumpled beneath him.

As he slowly rose to his feet, dusting off his coat and glasses, he looked at Scarlett with a newfound respect, mixed with disbelief. He hadn't expected the lowly omega to possess such power and agility, and the realization was etched on his face.

Scarlett stood her ground, her expression unwavering.

Dr. Harrison, his face flushed with anger, took a reckless step forward. His frustration over Scarlett's disobedience had reached a boiling point. In a hasty attempt, he lunged towards Scarlett, his hand extended to forcefully remove her from the ward.

Scarlett, a blur of swift and graceful movement, sidestepped his grab, her reflexes finely tuned from years of battling in the pack. With a powerful kick, she sent Dr. Harrison sprawling to the cold linoleum floor, his glasses clattering beside him. He lay there in a daze, disoriented and shocked, unable to believe what had just happened.
