Chapter 7

Jack's Pov:

I could already tell this girl was something. But what bothers me is that (Y/N) is almost like her. It was almost as if they were the same person... But it can't be. I mean, I want to believe its her, she has the eyes, the attitude... I just, just want to hear her voice, her singing voice. I feel like I could piece it together. I feel like something is drawing me to her. As if we had a personal connection. But what is it? Could it be (Y/N)?

It's been a few hours since (Y/N) collapsed, and she was lying on her bed, in what appears to be her room. North loaded the room with instruments, no matter where you looked there would be instruments. He also put a desk on the front wall. I was loaded with pens, pencils, and whatever artsy thing you could think of. There was a computer, and some sort of microphone in the corner right next to the desk. The walls were painted a pale purple. Lilac. Wow, North seemed fatherly to (Y/N), like, wanting to keep her comfortable and safe.

I turned to (Y/N), who, still sound asleep.(Y/N) looks so beautiful while she was asleep. Her features relaxed, her hair spread around on the pillow. She looked so fragile, I felt as if the slightest touch would break her, send her shattering into pieces...

I shook my head, clearing the thoughts out of my head. I immediately thought of why I was here, I had to protect (Y/N) while she was sleeping. From who? Pitch. He could maneuver his way in to her dreams, and make her brake down, making her think that we weren't all that safe.

I don't know why, but I felt protective over her. I felt like if I protected her I could be complete, like I would know why the Man in the Moon put me here. What if this is really her. I should just think of something else.

I admired the small golden sand courtesy of Sandy, floating above her head. The little figures moved around, entertaining me in trying to figure out what she was dreaming about. Little children, and what seemed to look like her. I got lost in the small figures, soon noticing a tall, slender shadow against the wall.

"Pitch" I sneered, venom dripping from my voice. I lifted my staff slightly, and glared at Pitch while he was stepping out from the shadows.

"Aha, Jack, it's been some time. I can feel this girl is something special to you. Just know, she may look like she has no fear at all, but little she has many. And so you know, I do plan on taking her from you." He said, walking back into the shadows, disappearing.

I found (Y/N) stirring on the bed, her face crumpling up slightly. The golden sand now turning darker, causing the figures to fall on a imaginary floor. She was having a nightmare.
