I wake up and yawn.. I've been tired for the last few days.. it has been so many things to handle at the same time..

I walk to my closet and ask myself what am I going to wear..

Black suit or black suit?

Oh!! I know! My favorite!!

A black suit..

Taking a toast with me in my mouth and putting on my blazer I walk out of my door a few minutes after to ride down to my company..

I've been so busy the past weeks.. work everywhere..

The day was going just like the others until an unexpected call comes in

- Mr. Jonas, - my secretary knocks on my door

I look up between the mountains of paperwork where I was working

- Yes Anne..

She steps inside and folds her hands in front of her

- Your mother called.. she's on the line number five.. as well as your brother's wife Danielle who's on line seven..

I nodded and rubbed my face - Ok.. tell Danielle I'll call her

Anne nodded and I picked up my phone holding the number five

- Nicholas!! - I hear my mother call

- Hey mom.. what's going on? You sound terrible

- I am terrible Nicholas.. I've been sick..

I nodded now feeling a little worried - What's wrong mom?

She started sniffing and I got nervous..

- I had a car accident and I wanted to be the first one to tell all my 4 sons.. I'm stuck in a wheelchair..

I was shocked to say the least

- What?

- It's nothing Nicholas.. Joe and Kevin are coming as well as Frankie

- And me mom!! I'll book a flight Monday to stay there!

- Nicholas you don't--

- Mom! I do!! I'll stay there until you start walking again! We're here for you!

I kept talking with my mom on the phone and afterwards called Danielle.. we agreed I would stay for the 5 full months since Kevin and her had Alena and Joe and Blanda had little Carol and John..

I then packed my cases and on Monday caught my flight.

It wasn't long until I was knocking on her door and hugging her tight..

- I missed you so much baby - my mom whispered while hugging me

I smiled and kissed her cheek - I missed you too.. are you feeling better?

She nodded letting go of me and i got settled in..

My old room.. it sure brought back memories.. specially of my father who died 6 years ago..

Damn.. That was a long time ago!
