In the Carriage...

Isabel and Roger were riding the same carriage for some safety reasons. Isabel was looking outside of the carriage window with interest because everything was very new to her. On the other side, Roger was examining her every movement. Unable to ignore him anymore, Isabel asked him, “Sir Astor, do you want to ask anything?" Roger looked a little embarrassed but still replied yes, actually it looks like this is your first time seeing the outside world. Isabel turned her attention to him and replied, "It is."

Roger was waiting for her reply but after hearing this he felt miserable. Isabel somehow understood his pity so she said, "You don't have to feel bad about it. I have plenty of time to see the world." He looked at her with awe.

Roger Astor's POV...

I am the knight captain of the imperial army and the only son of Marques Astor. Generally, I am quite busy but a few days ago Duke Zorion asked me for a favour. And the favour was to find his daughter who was swapped after birth. He said that his shadow is currently on a mission and I am the most reliable person he can trust about this matter. Also because of our family friendship.

So today I am here to get back the Duke's real daughter. It is easy to recognise a Zorion because of their silvery white hair and lavender eyes. Because only the Zorion possesses this. But when I reached the place where she was staying, I heard some commotion. A silvery white-haired girl was being beaten by two women. One of them even tried to burn her hands forcefully. I thought she would be naive and pushover.

But to my surprise, she used her magic to save herself and also take her revenge. To be honest I am quite impressed by her. But I can't see her face. I was lost in thoughts so I didn't pay attention but then I saw another girl try to slap on her face. Seeing this, I don't know why but I feel the urge to kill that girl. So I slammed the door and threw a small ice dagger towards her hand.

Then finally the silver-haired girl looked at me. I felt like time had stopped and there was no one here but me and this lavender-eyed girl. She looked like a beautiful delicate flower but her eyes were different it was fearless but beautiful. Every Zorion possesses lavender eyes but hers were like a deep sea that hides countless mysteries.

Without my knowledge, I went in her direction and I literally blabbered everything in my mind. But she was standing there emotionless. No matter what I cannot see through this girl. She is like a mystery.

She is wearing a worn-out dress but still, she is pleasing to the eyes.  There is a calm air around her. She is like a show fairy. At that time I found out the beaten marks on the exposed areas of her hands. There were some old and new scars. That means they have been beating her from a young age. Her snow-white skin has many old and new wounds seeing this without my knowledge I released my killing intent. But I cannot do anything now these people are the evidence of the kidnapping and torture. So I ordered my fellow knights to capture them and collect all the evidence.

Right now we are riding the same carriage. Now that I think about it she was more mature than her age but when she was watching outside the carriage window she was like a curious child. She never went outside of that house. So she would need a good friend who could help her. Though she doesn't look like she wants my help, I will still protect her.

( End of POV)

Three hours later...

They finally reached in front of the Zorion duchy. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the real young lady of the duchy and the Zorion family members were waiting for their daughter and sister. It's been three days since the duchy revealed that Daisy is not the biological daughter of the Duke and the Duchess. However,  Daisy's origin is still a secret and the way she was replaced with the real daughter. So not only the Dukedom but also the whole empire is waiting for the real lady of the Zorion duchy.
