Temetrius and his friends playing basketball on his backyard court. Ja lived a good life lived in a good medium house and everything he asked for he got.
"So all girls moving in" his friend, Deondre asks
"Yea that's what my momma said" Ja says as he does a layup into the net
"Think they cute" Trenton asks
"I don't know"
Up the hill of the grass is Solána in a plain colored t-shirt and jeans with dirtied white converses and a purple lakers hat on her head covering her tangled hair.
"Hey I thought you said all girls was moving in" Deondre says
"I did hope he knows how to ball"
"Yea unlike Deondre" Trenton says
"Shut up" Deondre says
"Can I play" Solana asks at the end of the court
"You nice" Ja asks
"Yea I'm nice" she says
"Ok 2v2 you and Deondre versus me and Trenton"
Solana holds out her hands for the ball and Ja hands it to her. She takes off her hat
"Awww man " Deondre says
"He is a girl" Trenton says shaking his head
"Girls can't play no ball" Ja says
"Ball better than you" she remarks
They all scoff and chuckle
Solana goes to the right of court
"What a dog" Ja says
"Man she heard you" Trent says
"No uh she can only hear dog whistles" he says then starts whistling kneeling beside Deondre
Solana and Trenton go in the middle to check up
"Check" Solana says
"Check" Trenton says back
Solana dribbles back Trenton at defense, she crosses him and goes up to the net doing a layup
"Dang she dogged you man, she dogged you" Deondre says to Trenton, laughing
"Shut up" Trenton pushes him
"1- zip" Solana says
"Lucky" Ja says taking the ball
Ja gets the ball and dribbles past Deondre making a layup making the score 1-1
Ja makes a three from the right side of the court then laughs at Solana's effort to block it. He shoots a three of the hood of his dads old school classic in the garage. Deondre dribbles past Ja then hands the ball off to Solana, her making a three. And her holding her hand up in the swish motion making a face. She shoots a layup from getting passed Trenton and another after that. 6 points she holds up with her fingers. Ja shoots a 3 and Solana shoots a 3 after him. Ja frustrated and mad that he losing. He shoots a three and misses and Solana gets the ball. She dribbles past Trenton and Ja takes over pushing him out the way. It's a standoff between the two, Solana dribbles the ball between her legs
"Told you I was nice, ima be the first girl in the NBA" Solana
says
"No ima be in the NBA you gonna be my cheerleader" Ja says on defense
