"Why me..." Felix slammed his head down in his arms that were resting on the restaurant table, complaining to two of his closest friends. He slowly looked up at the rapper and Australian, who were across from him, with sad eyes.

It was almost 8 pm and the three gathered to hear his friend rant to them about something apparently very important. The two looked at each other, Changbin shrugging as they both looked back at the blond.

"Are you gonna tell us what happened, or are we gonna have to guess?" Felix sighed sitting up straight and taking a sip of his water through the straw.

He placed the cup back on the table and began fidgeting with the rings on his fingers. "It's Hyunjin." The name seemed to catch both of their attentions as they seemingly leaned in to hear what he has to say.

"He didn't hurt you, did he?" Changbin instantly began to show his protective side towards his best friends. Yes, he was still friends with Hyunjin, but he had a more soft spot for blond as he had known him longer.

Felix's eyes widened and he shook his head. "No, no... well... kinda? I don't know." He rested his face in his hands that was being propped up by his elbows. "He's been acting very weird lately. I don't really know how to explain it. I feel like he's been more distant in the past month or so." Felix's eyes flickered back and forth between Chan and Changbin, who seemed to be thinking.

"What has he been doing?" Chan spoke up concerned.

"Well, he's coming home late, like way late. His shift from work ends at 8 and he would come at like 10 or 11 at night. Whenever I as-"

"Sorry to interrupt, but may I take your orders?" The waiter, who seemed to be in a rush, cut Felix off, eagerly waiting to take their orders.

"Oh, um, I'll have french fries with chicken strips."

"I'll have a stake. Well done."

"I'll have a burger please."

The waiter quickly scribbled down the three men's orders and rushed away, eyes averting back to Felix.

"Oh- yeah! Whenever I try to ask him where he's been at or why he came home so late, he would either shrug it off or say that it was nothing. We have fought so many times this month alone. More than we had fought in the past 4 years together."

Both friends felt pity towards the poor blond who was trying to stay strong. "He's also so much more distant. On the weekends, whenever he's not working, he's always out somewhere and it worries me so much. He won't tell me anything and all I can do is sit there and wonder where the hell my boyfriend is at nearly 12 am."

"He barely holds me, hugs me, or even kisses me anymore. It's like I'm not even dating him in the first place! I feel like I'm dating a whole new person. I know that sounds like a walking red flag and that I should leave him, but I love him so much and I can't just leave him. I love him so damn much."

Felix at this point was on the brink of tears, but he bit his lip and let it all back, preferring not to cry in a public place. He tilted his head back and looked at the ceiling to prevent the tears from coming loose.

Felix felt a soft and warm hand get placed on top of his, making his look down to see that both boys were giving him sad but warm looks. Chan knew that needed to at least attempt to comfort the younger. "Hey, I know it's tough. Trust me I do. I really don't know what's up with Hyunjin or why he's acting like this, but know that me and Changbin will always be here for you." Changbin nodded along with what he said.

"Wait, you said he has been coming home late and he's been distant right?" Felix nodded at Changbin, scared that if he spoke his voice would crack. "Has anything else happened? Maybe hiding things?"
