It was 6 pm. The sun had started to set, making the living room glow with the warm golden color. Jisung was on his bed, scrolling through his phone when Minho knocked on his door.
"Jisung-ah, we're leaving in 10 minutes." Jisung jerked up and tossed his phone on the bed.
"Okay!" He responded while pushing his racks of clothes. He had no idea where they were going so he had no idea on how to dress. "Dress warmly.." he repeated. Although, he had to choose fast since he didn't want to make their date late. He put on a long baby blue shirt that had cats on it, pulling a puffy white jacket over it. He put on a white skirt and leg warmers to finish off the outfit. He looked at his hair, messing it up a little and putting on bracelets and earrings. Then he came out, seeing Minho leaving against the counter.
The elder was wearing grey sweatpants and a black hoodie. He looked over at jisung and smiled, pulling him in by the waist. "I feel like I'm underdressed."
"Maybe..or I might just be overdressed."
"No, you look perfect. As always. I'll change really quickly." Minho went back inside his room, taking off his hoodie and putting on a black turtleneck. He put on baggy jeans and slipped into a black puffy jacket. One to match jisung. He came back out and saw jisung on his phone. "Now we're matching."
Jisung looked up and smiled, rolling his eyes. "I didn't know you had good style."
"Hey!" Jisung smiled and slipped into his white converse, Minho putting on his black boots. He opened the door for jisung and both headed out of the apartment complex. The two walked down, going into the busy city. Jisung wrapped his arm around Minho's in order to stay close to him. He didn't know where they were going but trusted Minho enough.
It took around a 10 minute walk before they made it to open fields. There was a place set up with blankets on top of sticks, a blanket on the grass with food there as well. "I know it's kind of bad, but it's the best I could do it such little time."
"It's okay, it looks great! Very cozy." Jisung smiled and sat down, Minho following him. The older took out some of jisung's favorite food, as well as blankets if they got colder later on.
"What do you want first?"
"Cheeseca-"
"No, actual food first." Minho gave jisung kimchi fried rice, the younger pouting but eating the food. Minho smiled and took a portion for himself, starting music on his phone.
It's was..nice. Calming. And quiet. The quiet that jisung liked. Where it's not total silence to leave you with your thoughts, instead you can hear the birds shutting and water flowing, light jazz music on the background like in a cafe. You can smell the coffee or food in your house. Giggles and laughs of little kids who were playing outside in the early morning, and seeing the morning dew on the grass. Jisung loved it.
The two sat in silence, comfortable silence. They listened to the soft jazz music and the leafs swaying in the wind. The sun touched the horizon perfectly to make a half circle, glowing beams of light blinding them.
Jisung was eating most of the food, stuffing his mouth like a squirrel. Minho's gaze fell on jisung's cheeks, the older feeling a warm fuzzy feeling in his stomach. It pulled him in. He craved for more.
Jisung was now eating cheesecake as the last beam of light fell beneath the horizon, leaving the two in a now dark space. The fairy lights turned on, creating the same affect as the sun. Jisung could see firefly's around their tent, smiling as he watched them fly around. However, Minho could only stare at jisung. He didn't care about the fireflies or the winds rustling, nor did he care about the last remaining birds chirping good nights, or the owls waking up. It was like Jisung was the sun, he was the earth.
