CHAPTER SIX -Sweet Kiss- 06
Paige Pov
The team and I are sat in a circle as we stretch before practice starts. Geno is paying absolutely no attention to us because he's going over the play book. Everyone else is having their own side conversations, so I take this as time to spill everything i've been feeling to Azzi.
"Azzi." I whisper, switching my legs over to stretch my left leg.
"Paige." She whispers back, with a huge smile.
"I need to tell you something."
She immediately stops stretching and sits straight criss cross.
"So...tell me." She says excitedly.
"So you know Amelia, right?"
"Mhm, your girlfriend what about her?"
"She has a younger sister..."
"Ok..." She anticipates.
"Excuse me ma'am, don't rush the story." I roll my eyes.
"Then tell it!"
I groan and roll my eyes, shifting my weight onto my hands as I lean back.
"Basically she has a fat crush on me, and I had a feeling she did before hand, but last night she drunkenly confessed to me and now I don't know what to do, because I might like her too."
We both sit in silence for a moment. At this point everyone is messing around, waiting for Geno to tell us to start running.
"Wow. So are you saying you want to break up with her?"
"Not necessarily...I still have feelings left for Amelia but y/n has been on my mind since she's confessed."
"Hm...Haven't you guys only been dating for a month?"
"That's not the point!"
Azzi scrunches up her nose and rubs her chin. I chew at my lip and wonder what she could possibly be thinking about. Was she going to scold me? Or was she going to give me heart felt advice.
"Of course you know I'm always going to tell you to follow your heart, but in this case you may not have feelings for her sister, you may just like the idea of her liking you. But maybe try getting closer to her and then you might see how you really feel."
