As soon as I'm far enough away from the main common room, i slide down the wall and cover my mouth with my hand to muffle my crys and close my eyes. Steve's words cut deeper than a knife, but what i said to him was the complete truth. I relive everything he did to me in our relationship every damn minute of the day. I always think i'm not sitting correctly and have to check my posture, i always think i have to be thinner, so i have to eat less food, i always think i am just average. Everything he did still haunts me, and i know it will take time for me to heal from everything he did, but the first step to healing is standing up for myself and not taking his shit anymore. I have to be strong now for Logan and I's baby because there are bad people out there who will try to take them from me and Logan.
Suddenly, i feel myself being lifted up off the floor, and i snap my eyes open immediately, ready to fight whoever is bow holding me only to see that it's Loki that has picked me up. I look at him confused, and he just chuckles at me and then walks me towards the medical side of the tower. I relax in his arms, but i'm in complete shock because i have never seen Loki like this and let alone heat him chuckle. He must have seen the confused look on my face because he freaking give me a small smile, which shocks me even more. The more time i spend with Loki around the more, i feel this bond towards him, but the bond doesn't feel like a lover bond. It's more paternal, like a father and daughter bond, which is confusing since i don't even know my father because my father was never in my life.
Thor has always looked at me with this werid look in his eyes, and when he first met me, he literally ran outside like his ass was on fire and went back to asgard. Ever since then, he has been protective over me and always tries to convince Tony or Fury to let me sit out on missions. I never thought much off it until now, and i seriously want to ask the pair of God's some questions because they both know something. I don't know what to think right now, but i definitely know the gods are keeping something from me, and I'm going to find out what sooner or later.
I'm brought out my thoughts when Loki placed me down onto the hospital bed in the medical room. I see Logan, Thor, and Bruce standing behind Loki with concerned looks on their faces. Without saying anything, Bruce moves an ultrasound machine closer to the bed as Loki steps to the side. Logan covers my slower body with a blanket, and i pull my dress up to reveal my small baby bump understanding what Bruce wants to do. Bruce puts gel on my stomach, then starts to move the wand around, and Logan watches his every move. Thor and Loki stand at the entrance way of the room watching the ultrasound screen with the looks of worry and concern. That's when i see my cub on the screen moving around, and tears gather in my eyes when i see that it looks like they are waving at us even though they can't see us.
"The baby is doing great, but i will have to monitor you every other day because of the advanced growth due to you being a shape-shifter. You will need to keep taking the vitamins Loki got for you every day since it looks like they are helping the baby withstand advanced growth." Bruce said, pressing a few buttons as he does some checks
"Does she need to be on bed rest? What can she do and not do? Is there anything she can't eat?" Logan said worriedly as he looked at the ultrasound screen with tears in his eyes
"She shouldn't need to be on bed rest for the next few weeks, but as it gets closer to her due date, then she will need to be on bed rest. She can do everything a normal pregnant woman can do, but unfortunately, for Willow, she won't be able to go on missions, which means we have to keep her inner animal relaxed. Finally, here is a list of everything she can and can't eat during this pregnancy." Bruce said, handling Logan a piece of paper
"Will she be able to phase into her animal forms?" Thor asked, moving over to Logan
"Not as much as she normally would. Phasing would drain her energy more than usual, leaving her vulnerable and exhausted." Bruce said as Thor started reading the paper in Logans hand
"I will go to Asgard and collect more vitamins." Loki said while doing the same as Thor
"Would you be able to get something to protect the baby from Willow's unhumanly high temperature? We don't know a whole lot about shape-shifter baby's so if the baby does have a separate source of body heat right now Willow's body heat will make the baby feel like they are in a oven so we need to try to keep the baby at a stable temperature." Bruce said while i lay here with my arms crossed
"I shall go and inquire about your question." Loki said politely then disappeared
"You guys do know im still here, right? You're all talking like im invisible." I said, raising an eyebrow
"Oh no, my baby girl could never be invisible. Your beauty can never leave you invisible to me." Logan said and pecks my lips, making me blush
"You're not invisible, kiddo. We just want to know everything so we can help you through this and make sure you and the baby are healthy." Tony said, smiling
"Why don't you are Logan clean this gel off your stomach while i collect the scan photos i printed off for you?" Bruce said softly while putting the wand away handing me some paper towels
"I'll do it." Logan said, taking the paper towels off me
"I am capable of doing it myself." I said, pouting
"With me around, you won't need to do anything on your own." He said, gently cleaning the gell off my stomach
