Seungcheol kept his promise. He was there for Jisoo at every moment.
He was there when Dk proposed to Jisoo, when the 2 got married, when they adopted their first son togther, Seungcheol was the first to meet him. And first to meet the next 2 children they adopted.
Seungcheol and Jisoo we're the true definition of best friends forever.
Well, at least Jisoo's forever.
As a fallen angel, Seungcheol didn't age, unlike Jisoo, but the human never minded that Seungcheol would forever look the same in his eyes. "Oh, I don't mind. You keep me young Cheol." Jisoo smiled.
And when Jisoo did grow old, Seungcheol was right there to take care of him.
Seungcheol was there until Jisoo took his last breath. Never leaving the human's side while at the hospital.
Seungcheol was hoping Jisoo would be chosen to be reincarnated, similar to his husband DK, just so he could get more time with Jisoo, but Seungcheol could only hope.He knew Jisoo was in heaven, probably set to become a guardian angel. And as much as Seungcheol hated heaven for what they did, he knew Jisoo was a good person and deserved to be an angel.
"I just wish I had more time with him." Seungcheol sighed as he leaned his head against Jeonghan's shoulders. Now, with Jisoo gone, Seungcheol really didn't have a reason to stay on earth.
He only visits once or twice to check up on Jisoo and Dk's kids, who all have their own families now.
Jeonghan was always there to comfort his love, but would never truly understand the loss Seungcheol was feeling.
Their moment was suddenly interrupted when he and Jeonghan heard a scream and a loud thud.
"A fallen angel?!" Jeonghan asked as he and Seungcheol rushed to the fall room, which now was covered in pillows and a soft mattress.
"Ow." They heard a groan as both of them froze. There was no way."JISOO?!" Seungcheol gasped as the now fallen angel looked up. He didn't look a day older than when he first met Seungcheol.
"What are you doing here?" Seungcheol asked, pulling his best friend into a hug.
"Turns out God wasn't too happy to find out a guardian angel of his had spent his 20's partying with the devil and his demons." Jisoo smiled.
"And the fall wasn't as bad as you guys made it seem." Jisoo said, getting up and rubbing his back.
"You act like you'd be sore for all of eternity. This will probably leave a bruise, but the pain should fade within a week." Jisoo rolled his eyes.
"Well, see about that." Jeonghan laughed as Seungcheol threw his arms over both Jeonghan and Jisoo's shoulders.
Seungcheol now had all he could ever wish for.
For now and forever
