Sam exits the school with Kyle after getting into a fight with Will. She has cuts and bruises from said fight.
"Sam, why did you fight him!? You didn't have to do that, you know." Kyle shouts.
"He took it too far. He knows not to talk about my dad like that!" Sam yells in anger.
Sam makes her hands into fists. Her hands are sore and bruised.
"I know he shouldn't have, but you got yourself hurt, Sam!" Kyle says with worry.
"It's just a few bruises...." Sam mumbles
Sam starts running to her house, trying to avoid eye contact with anyone.
"Sam! God damn it....." Kyle shouts while chasing after her.
"Why are you following me home?" Sam asks, annoyed.
"I just wanna make sure you'll be okay." Kyle sighs.
Sam rolls her eyes
"I'm fine." Sam said in a monotone voice.
She slows down, and tears start rolling down her face.
"You keep saying that, but I know you're not." Kyle shouts.
"So what if I'm not?" Sam shouts back, irritated.
She wipes her eyes as Kyle sighs.
"You're so stubborn." Kyle mumbles.
They arrive at her house. Kyle stops as Sam walks towards the house.
Sam gets her house key out and opens the door.
"Oh, I thought you'd wanna come in.....Since you follow me home...." Sam said.
"Well, I just wanted to make sure you'd get home safe, I was worried one of Will's friends would follow you or something." Kyle says, embarrassed.
"That's sweet of you, but still do you wanna come in?" Sam smiles slightly.
"Sure." Kyle responds.
They walk inside, and Kyle leaves his bag in the living room. They go into Sam's room. Sam puts her bag down.
"How am I gonna explain these cuts to my parents....." Sam groaned.
"If I know anything, it's that Will is lucky your dad is stuck in that Wii." Kyle laughs
The tv turns on.
"You're lucky I'm stuck in this Wii, Kyle!" Eteled said quickly in a pissed off tone.
Kyle flinches.
Eteled looks at Sam and notices the black eye.
"Sam, are you okay, sweetie!?" Eteled says, worried
"I'm fine, it just a few cuts and bruises...." Sam says she tries to avoid eye contact with Eteled.
"What happened?" Eteled questions.
"I don't wann-" Sam gets interrupted.
"She got in a fight with Will." Kyle said
Sam glares at Kyle.
"What? He should know!" Kyle yells.
"For once, I agree with you." Eteled rolls his eyes at Kyle.
Eteled crosses his arms.
"I'm gonna get some bandages for your cuts, Sam." Kyle said softly.
"Okay..." Sam mumble.
Kyle leaves the room.
