It's 4pm, Sam and Kyle are on a Discord call.
"So you cut your hair...." Kyle blurted out.
"Yep." Sam sighed, annoyed.
"I didn't cut out too much hair off so it still looks okay-ish." Sam grumbles.
Sam slouched in her chair, she just wants today to be over.
"How much do you still need in order to buy a new Wii?" Kyle asks.
"About 742 dollars..." Sam groans.
"You should get a job or something." Kyle suggests.
Sam gives him a unsatisfied look.
"I already am doing extra chores, plus job hunting sounds really hard!" Sam remarks.
She sits up straight and crosses her arms as she looks away from the screen.
"Well it would make you more money!" Kyle rolls his eyes.
Sam sees the broken Wii on her dresser and starts to feel really depressed.
Kyle notices Sam's instant change in mood.
"You okay?" Kyle questions.
Sam doesn't looks away from the Wii.
"I miss him..." Sam mumbles.
Kyle doesn't understand why she liked 'Eteled' so much, the Mii has caused him a lot of mental trauma.
Then he remembers that she said he was her only friend....
"Sam....Do you wanna be friends?" Kyle asks.
He starts questioning himself if this is a good idea or not.
Sam looks at him very confused.
"What? Why are you asking me that!? Sam blurts out in surprise.
"I- uhh I just....." Kyle stammers trying to respond
Kyle takes a breath and continues.
"You seem lonely, you just lost someone close to you and I wanna help you..." Kyle sighs.
Sam's eyes widen.
"This feels weird.... why does he care about me?" Sam wonders.
She just sits there for a moment, confused as hell.
Finally she speaks.
"Why do you care so much about me...? You weren't like this a few days ago."
Kyle thinks for a moment...
"I feel really REALLY bad. Plus.... I think you're kinda cool, you know? I don't know why but I just do..." Kyle mumbles.
Sam frowned.
"It's going to take some time for me to forgive you Kyle, I don't think we can be friends yet, I am still willing to talk to you though. Sam sighs.
Her rejection hurts Kyle.
"Wait hurt? Why does it hurt....? It wasn't suppose to hurt!? I just didn't want her to be lonely!" He thinks to himself.
"Oh okay..." Kyle feels defeated.
"it doesn't mean we can't be friends in the future though." Sam smiles.
This makes Kyle feel a little better and hopeful.
They keep talking for a while until Sam realized she needed to do her chores. They say their goodbyes and disconnect from the call.
