Was this the right way to go...? Should I turn back...?

Wednesday's Horror (GORE PART)

Wednesday, September 17th, 2023
Barry was just about to help co-test the design Mary had made off of the headmaster's orders. Mary, the mastermind behind it all, wanted to test it on 3 people. For obvious reasons to see effects. She didn't know if stuff would go wrong on one but right on the other. She asked for 2 people including Barry and a special guest to help test the design. Though this was just the beginning to Barry's Horror of what he was going to see.

- Barry -
Mary had asked me and a special guest that I don't know about to help test her design. The idea of the design from the blueprint to seeing sneak peeks gave me the creeps. The scares. The shivers. i felt odd and nervous, the way i would feel around Larry. I didn't let my thoughts creep up to me as I walked into the engineering room to wait on Mary and the guest. Once I was in there, i sat down and took a look at the blueprint on the corkboard. The design was there, and a small sticky note saying something. "MAY WORK TEST FOR SURE" then it finally hit me. This key was to do something terrible to our body. Our mind... my mind was saying to run, Tell on Mary, don't do her test project...But my feet where stiff as ice. and my hands where there Infront of me frozen. I couldn't move as if someone had been controlling me to not go, soon after I found my body sitting in a chair completely fine, but frozen in fear.

- Hours later -

Mary had finally come with the special guest. I was super surprised to see who the guest was. Larry. He was trembling in fear, scared, and didn't want to have anything to do with the key. He and Mary had walked over to the table with the key on it, with me following of course. Mary picked up a key, she had asked super "sweetly" that we'd help her as she put it in our backs for a response of what we were feeling... Larry had responded that he didn't want to do it. But Mary wasn't going to take that. She just told him to turn around. and with Larry being so manipulated by Mary, he did. Mary had shoved the key into his back. A loud scream came out of Larry followed by a gasp. Blood had trickled down his back as he arched his back forward and backwards. His eyes wide open. I covered my mouth in fear. I knew at that moment I was next. Larry had managed to mutter out a response of how he felt. Angry. Larry had a loss of consciousness. Mary then said for me to turn around as it was my turn. I did as she said, feeling scared, nervous, sad. I was thinking of what would happen in the aftermath.... Without any warning, I felt the key enter my back with a crunch sound followed by blood dripping on the ground. I had arched my back hoping for some relief of the pain, but there was nothing. I didn't respond with anything. with the little conciseness I had left, I took the last key and shoved it into Mary's back with ease. she also had no response. I couldn't help but think worried and scared of what's to come. Soon after my mind blanked and I passed out face forward.

- Larry's POV -

I was stabbed with the key. I was given a 3 second countdown before she had shoved it in my back. after wards my mind was starting to blank. I let out a scream beforehand as loud as I could. I saw blood trickling down my back onto my purple jacket, staining it completely. I turned to my left and saw Barry also getting a key. I slight grunt came out of him "NHG!" And there was blood also going down his back staining his Bright Blue Jacket. He had stood still for few moments saying nothing. He gave Mary a key too and we all just stood in that room. the happiest of all Mary, was very excited to be getting her experiment to work. Soon after I heard a thumb. then I snapped back to reality to see who and what the thud was. It was Barry. He had collapsed on the floor from him losing control of his mental insanity and his mind. I quickly came to his side. But surprisingly Mary didn't. she didn't care for him as she would've without the key. she just walked out of the room and left. I came to his side and elevated his head on my knees as I kneeled down to grab him. A few hours have passed, and I started to see his eyes awaken. he was squinting so he could see who it was helping him. I don't think he could recognize who it was. I was getting hysterical, but I didn't want to start crying yet telling him how worried i was and how freaked I was to see him like that. I decided to wait until he spoken and recognized me, so I knew when to hug him and start talking.

- Barry -

After I awoken, I saw someone standing Infront of me. my eyes were blurry so I couldn't get a good sight of who it was. I could see the colors on their outfit. purple coat, blue shirt, red flower. black hair. I knew who it was. Larry. He was the only one standing by my side when I had awoken. "L-Larry? is that you?" I asked. I guess it was him because my question was answered with a giant hug. his hug felt nice and warm likr a relief of anything that went wrong in the past few days , larrys mind couldnt hold him back from hugging Barry ever so tightly avoiding the sore bloody hole with the key inside.. I felt water dripping down onto my face and down my cheeks. It was tears from Larry. He had seemed to be super worried about me once I passed out. But one question still remained in my head. where was Mary? I sat up in a hurry, looking around franticly with wide open eyes. I looked around the room, but I didn't see her. I thought she would be by my side till I awoken but I didn't see her. Only Larry.  I was stunned, confused, upset, I thought she would be there with me, but I guess not. Larry had decided to tell me that she had walked out right after I passed out. she didn't say anything but walked away quietly. He and I believe she went to the headmaster's office.

As Larry and Barry where both scared and nervous. they couldn't help but think of their parents.... Would they wonder where they went? Did they die? Were they missing??
