"noah, val are you girls ready?" their mom, rafaella, yelled from downstairs
valentina took the photo of her and her father after race "yes mama, noah come on we are leaving" she yelled as she passed her sisters room on her way downstairs, where their mother was waiting
the car ride was silent, nobody in the mood to talk until..
"what are you reading?" rafaella broke the silence, noah was reading pride and prejudice and valentina was scrolling trough her phone in the backseat
noah didn't say a word "just tell me, i'm not wearing my glasses" rafaella demanded as she started to get pissed at noah
silence again
"you are not going to talk to me?"
valentina scoffed and turned her phone off "noah por favor stop acting like a 5 year old"
the younger sister rolled her eyes and continued to read her book
rafaella quitely sighed "this isn't easy for me either. you spend your life trying to get to the next level, but the same monster keep getting in your way"
"but one day, when you have run out of his points, you're given an extra chance at life, just like that"
valentina was trying to be nice to her mom about the moving. she didn't gave a two fucks about moving from the shitshow to a fucking rich mans villa. noah wasn't the only one who has her life there, her friends and boyfriend. valentina had to left her boyfriend and friends there too, but for some reason she was taking it better than noah. valentina get it, noah is 17 years old girl, they couldn't expect more from her. but she could atleast try to be nicer for the sake of her mother
"mom enough video game metaphors. we are not ten" valentina rolled her eyes as she started to get headache from her mothers rambling
but rafaella continued "well, it is like opening a new book and a new story begins. better?"
noah neither did valentina wanted to speak, because their mothers monologs were only frustrating the young girls. noah slammed her book shut and looked out of the window, while valentina continued scrolling through instagram
"damn it, girls. now we will be the main characters of our own lives"
noah finally decided to speak "your life only. mine and valentinas is l000 km away!" she yelled at her mother
"now i'm all by myself just for a fucking whim"
rafaella anxiously tapped the steering wheel "why can't you just be like your sister. valentina had to leave her life too but she's not her yelling about it at me" rafaella mumbled as she looked at valentina trough rewiev mirror, the eldest daughter flashed her ressasuring smile
rafaella then adverted her eyes from valentina to noah who was ignoring her, still looking out of the window
"Noah it is not a whim, Will and I love each other" rafaella argued back
