A New Threat?

The next day, Jiyeon woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside her window. She stretched her limbs and smiled, feeling a surge of energy and creativity. She got out of bed and walked to the balcony.

The sky was painted with shades of pink, orange, and purple, and the sun cast a golden glow on the trees and houses below. She felt a warm breeze on her face and breathed in the fresh air. She decided to capture this moment on canvas, and went back to her room to get her painting supplies. She set up her easel and palette on the balcony, and began to sketch the outline of the scene. She chose her colors carefully, mixing and blending them to create the perfect hues. She applied the paint with gentle strokes, filling the canvas with light and life. She lost track of time as she immersed herself in her art, feeling a sense of joy and peace.

She finished her painting and stepped back to admire her work. She was happy with the result, and felt a connection with the nature that inspired her. She thought to herself, "This is a good way to start the day."

Appa knocked on her room's door. "You can come in, Appa!", she replied from inside. He walked inside the room and saw that Jiyeon wasn't on the bed. He was confused and walked towards the balcony to find her standing in front of a canvas. He smiled.

"Creating something already?", he asked. "I just felt like doing it", she said, smiling. "You're amazing, my sweetie. I came to see if you woke up. Come down, let's have breakfast", he said before walking out of her room. She did her morning routine and went downstairs for breakfast.

They were having breakfast. "By the way, I have to go to Jung-gu for a few days. Work related, you know?", she said before taking another bite of the food. "When are you leaving, Jiyeon-ah?", Eomma asked. "After breakfast", she replied before she stood up from the chair. "And you didn't tell us earlier?", Appa asked. "I'm sorry, I didn't, Appa. It came up out of nowhere". "It's fine, sweetie. Take care", Appa said. "I've packed everything. I'll be leaving in 5 minutes", she stated. After a while, she left. She stopped driving as she got a call from Taehyung.

"Baby, why did you call?
I was in a meeting"

"Atleast you called back now.
I'm going to Jung-gu"

"Jung-gu? Where in Jung-gu?
And why?"

"Deoksu palace. There's a show for new artists.
They called me to be a judge.
I have to stay there for almost 3 days"

"3 days? You've got to be kidding me!"

"No, I'm serious. You should keep an eye on Appa and Eomma. They're alone, right?"

"Yeah. But, what makes you say that?
Is everything alright, love?"

"I don't know, baby. I feel like
something bad is coming"

"I'll make sure that they're safe.
Don't you worry, my love"

"Thanks, love. I'll call you later. I love you"

"I love you more"

Jiyeon sighed as she ended the call. "What is this feeling?" She continued driving. On the way, she saw people panicking and running away. She stopped the car on the side and got out. She saw a shop full of people. She went there to find all the people watching the news, trembling with fear. A man was in the news. "I am Zalazar. You all are in danger, unless your Guardian Angels, Lilac and Fang hand me their jewels", he declared. Behind him, was a huge mess. Buildings destroyed, people crying out for help, hurt and helpless. Jiyeon couldn't stand it. She quickly called Taehyung

Baby, Did you see the news?

Yeah. I did.
It's time to bring back Fang and Lilac

Yeah.

Jiyeon called her parents as soon as Taehyung ended the call

"Jiyeon-ah, where are you? Are you alright?"

"Appa, Are you both alright?

"We are okay. But that man-
He is a few buildings away from us."

"Don't worry. Lilac and Fang will come to you."

"Don't get yourself in danger, sweetie.
Stay somewhere safe"

"Ye, Appa"

Jiyeon ended the call. She transformed into Lilac and went to Namsan Tower. Fang went to Jiyeon's place. Appa and Eomma flinched as they heard the door open. They hugged eachother.
"It's okay, Abeoji and Eomoni- I mean Mr and Mrs. Park. It's me, Fang. I'm here to help", he said as he saw their state. They went towards him. That's when Lilac showed up. She used her power of teleportation to take them to Taehyung's parents. "You'll be safe here", Lilac said, as she gave them a warm smile. Lilac and Fang walked outside the Park Building. They went towards where Zalazar was.

"What do you want?", Fang shouted as he lunged his whip sword towards Zalazar, to stop him from hurting a child, who was lying on the ground. Lilac rescued the child and teleported him to a safe place. "Why are you hurting our people?", Lilac asked as she landed on the ground, beside Fang. "All I want is your jewels. You're putting the whole universe in danger by not giving me the jewels", Zalazar replied. "We are not giving you our jewels", Fang yelled before lunging at Zalazar, thrusting his sword with force. Zalazar deflected the sword with a swift movement. He then counterattacked, using his powers and struck Fang. Fang fell on the ground. "Fang!", Lilac flew towards him. "Are you okay?", she asked as she helped him to get up. "You are going to pay for this!" Lilac flew towards Zalazar, slashing at his chest with her sword. Zalazar struck her with his power, making her fall down from mid air. Fang rushed towards her. "How pathetic!", he said before opening a portal. Lilac got up from the ground. "He's too powerful. We don't even know where he's coming from. And did you see how he disappeared right now?", Lilac asked, rubbing her temples. Fang sighed, "I did, baby. There's only one person we could ask for help."
