what a weekend that was in Las Vegas! Crazy! But Charles was insane!!!

Sorry for the not so regular updates at the moment but I am traveling a lot and its hard to find time :)

--------------------------------------

After the opulent dinner, the drivers and their companions headed to one of the trendiest clubs in the city. As every year, the cozy get-together quickly transformed into a wild party.

It didn't take long for Daniel and Pierre to be designated as the "beverage officers" of the evening. Everyone constantly had a new drink thrust into their hands, and shots flowed abundantly.

Jolie held back a bit. She enjoyed the spectacle but wanted to make sure she didn't completely lose control. Charles, on the other hand, was in an absolute party mood. His bursts of laughter were infectious, and together with Lando, they provided pure entertainment. Their wobbly dance moves elicited laughter and sometimes worried looks when it seemed like they might tip over.

And then came the moment when Charles decided that a table was the perfect stage. Up there, with a glass in hand, he put on a performance that no one would soon forget. As he jumped down to make, in his words, "a landing like a pro," he lost his balance. Pierre, in the right place at the right time, caught him at the last moment. Lando, already amused by the smallest things, rolled with laughter.

"Everything okay with you, Calamar?" Pierre asked with a smirk.

Charles grinned at him, "Oopsi."

Pierre handed him a glass of water, which Charles willingly accepted in his exuberant mood. He downed it in one go but then realized it wasn't alcohol and made a face. "Did you just trick me?" he asked.

Jolie laughed. "He's just doing what best friends do. He cares about you."

Charles theatrically looked at her. "I'm not a child!" he protested, then grinned crookedly. "But thanks, Pierre."

The club's lights pulsed to the rhythm of the music, and the dance floor filled up more and more. It seemed like every driver had forgotten that they were competitors. Tonight, they all celebrated as one big family.

Esteban and Sergio challenged several drivers to a dance battle. What started as a simple dance turned into an incredible show. They moved so smoothly and in perfect rhythm that you would think they had practiced for weeks. Lando tried to compete with his own unconventional dance moves, eliciting many laughs.

Next to the dance floor, a sort of karaoke area had formed. Daniel, now wearing a cowboy hat and wielding an inflatable guitar, passionately performed "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses. Some of the other drivers formed the background choir, and the crowd cheered them on.

Max and Alex clinked glasses and were apparently engrossed in a deep conversation. Presumably, they were analyzing the past race, occasionally seen tracing imaginary curves with their hands.

Carlos had convinced the DJ to hand over the controls. It didn't take long before the entire dance floor was passionately singing the chorus of "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey. Pierre waved a towel over his head and then tossed it into the crowd.

Jolie, surrounded by some other partners and friends, sat in a lounge corner of the club, observing the vibrant scene. Some of the girls had a Polaroid camera and took snapshots of the party, destined for a memory album later.

Towards the end of the night, the group retreated to the rooftop terrace of the club for a closing drink. With a breathtaking view of the city, they raised their glasses, appreciated the moment, and pledged to live the next season just as intensely and passionately as the past one.
