••Delta's POV••

Well, I'm bored. I get bored easily being an ADHD 12 year old girl. I'm walking to the park right now because it's more interesting than the back of a sign. When I get there it's about three AM so it's empty, no fear of being recognised here! I smiled and sat under a tree in the shadows in case a police man comes by he won't see me, I started thinking about the crime I didn't commit, my abusive parents, the reason I have to live. I started crying then I felt a hand on my shoulder and a familiar voice say "Delta?"

••Greyson's POV••

I couldn't sleep because I was too busy thinking about Delta. So I decided to go to the park, when I got there I wasn't alone, I heard soft crying and I saw a foot sticking out by the tree so I walked over slowly and then I realised I know who this is! I put my hand on her shoulder "Delta?" she looked up at me and wiped away tears and answered not meanly but curiously "what do you want?" I sighed "I couldn't sleep so I came here, I heard you crying so I decided to come see what's wrong, so. What's wrong?" she looked sad "you wouldn't understand... Nobody does" I was confused "I can try to understand if you let me" she sighed "fine. But first, who are you?" oh yea I never told her my name "my name is Greyson" she smiled "that's a nice name" I probably blushed "thanks, now that you know my name, what's wrong?" she lost the smiled she possessed seconds ago and grew a look of complete seriousness "I'm not a good person Greyson, I've been accused and abused. Right now I'm on the run for a crime I didn't commit, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I have to eat to live and steal to eat. Right now I only have one reason to live, and I can't even have it.. I was named Delta as in the end. The last thing my parents wanted. Oh and right now I live behind a wonderful sign!" she was crying so hard the last bit was barely understandable, this isn't fair. Why do bad things happen to the best people, I wish I could do something for her... Wait a minute! "you could come live with me' and my family!" she smiled but said "I couldn't take advantage of you like that Grey.." I smiled at my new nickname "please Del?! Your my friend! I can't let you live out here!" she smiled "well I'm really pleased that I have a friend but still I don't think I can" "sure you can! I promise I don't bite" she stood up and I followed then she hugged me "thanks Grey! I promise this is only for a few days" I smiled and realised we were still hugging so I pulled back and looked at my watch 4:36am then I looked down at Delta and saw her with a thinking face on so I sat next to her, she looked at me' "want to play twenty questions?" I smiled "sure you first" she thought for a minute "how old are you?" "thirteen, how about you?" "twelve I think, what's today's date?" "January 21st" she smirked "I'm thirteen" I smiled "when's your birthday?" "January 19th, you?" "August 16th" she smiled "do you have any siblings?" "yep a brother named Tanner and a sister named Alexa, do you?" she then sighed and looked on the verge of tears "yes, a little brother, his name was Nicholas, he was five and the only reason I have to live" I sighed and hugged her as a few tears rolled down her face and I said "what happened to him?" the she looked at me in the eye "you really want to know?"
