[ y/n pov ]

I don't know why I am getting ready, it's just a training practice at midnight. I think I like him too much that I am overdressing myself. But it's strange, he never done this after what happen.. last time we spoke was a week ago. So what's the changed up?

Getting my gears ready, because that's what I am suppose to do right? Bring gears and practice, right? I check the clock numerous times, ding! It was midnight, I sneakily went out hoping the guards wouldn't see me. Still, i'm fidgeting my fingers, why at midnight?

So much questions, that I hadn't even realize I made it to the place. Levi was leaning against the tree, waiting. "Finally, took you long enough". I scoffed in a nice way. "Just curious why at midnight?", Levi looked right at my eyes.

"Because that's the time where it's peaceful, quiet and for the most part I don't have to get bothered by anyone", I laughed it off. Such a great answers. "Now time to practice".

After a while, we practice and i'm already drowning by my sweat and so was he. Now I see why he ask me to come, I just suck at doing this. Right as I was getting my equipments, I accidentally tripped and thankfully Levi catches me. He grabbed my waist, it felt the same just as how he grabbed my waist when I was begging for my mother.

It was awkward after, I can't even tell if he wants me to go now or stay. "Uh well, thanks for the practice. Helped me a lot, so, goodnight to you?", he lifted his eyebrows which was somewhat attractive. "I didn't say you could go?".

Holy shit this man can do anything to me and I wouldn't have a single thought. "What?", he froze realizing what he said. "I mean, yeah, goodnight to you too". Giving him a hum sound, I slowly walked away. Weird.

"Wait actually, I have something to tell you".

"Hm? What is it?", standing there like a dumb head, please give me the answer i'm hoping for.

"It's just like - like I wanted to say, thank you for being a great friend".

Not this again, heart went as deep as the titanic. "Oh aha, no worries, it's my job right?".

"Excuse me?".

[ levi pov ]

Right before I could say anything, I see her almost about to trip. Grabbing her by the waist, shit, I am gonna regret this. Why? She's my crush, I am so nervous around her. Grabbing her by the waist won't help me.

"Uh well, thanks for the practice. Helped me a lot, so goodnight to you?", she gave that smile I was hoping to see. But in confusion, why did she wanted to go away now? "I didn't say you could go?".

Shit again Levi, why am i saying these things. Damn, I am truly inlove with this girl or what? I think this might be the perfect chance!

[ after a bit ] Why in the hell i said that? This is such a good confession Levi, you dumbass. "Oh aha, no worries. It's my job right?". What does she mean by that?

"Excuse me?", "Well it is my job to be a good friend so it's technically my job right?". Slowly nodding my head a yes, she hummed. Before she walked away, she told me something that I will think on forever.

"Levi, what am I to you?"

"What do you mean?", fidgeting with my fingers, I don't even know what to think at this moment.

"I mean, actually nothing. Just wanted to thank you for comforting me on the cattle that one day", leaving me speechless.

How did she even remember that so strongly? What the hell? She smiled at me one more time and walked away, leaving me all on my own. The question still lingers me, "Levi, what am I to you?".

I fully thought I was able to confess her, my shy ass just ruined the moment. If I had the bravery in me, I would've told her everything.

"Not a single day where I hadn't stop thinking about you y/n,
