"Reanna," I put down my pencil when I heard Teanna behind me. It was a careless movement. The tip of the pen had left a line along the words. "I just made grilled Nutella. Come."

"Give me a sec." I decided to crumple the paper and start a new one after tea time. But, Teanna stopped me.

"Still haven't figured out what to write?" I nodded, biting my lower lip to cover up the frustration. I loved writing so much but, I had never found any good ideas to be written, to be read and cherished.

She wrapped her arm around my shoulders. "Try to write something that you've experienced. That kind of story is the best."

I fidgeted with my pencil, spinning it around between my two fingers. "I've never experienced anything fun. My life is a box of mundanity. Empty." Despair laced in my voice and it was too obvious. Teanna could hear it.

"Well, well. A metaphor, lil' sis. You sound like a pro writer." I smiled at that. "It's okay. One day, you will experience something wonderful that even a whole trilogy isn't enough to describe it." Teanna had never failed to fix my spirit every time it was cracked.

She was my only sister. She was that shy brunette who had dedicated her life for books. Oh, and Before You Exit too. She was that green-eyed young lady who would sit alone in the library reading classic novels and ignoring the world around her. She was an unsung beauty who kept thousands of words that could make ones' day. She was my sister.

I looked a lot like her. Only that my hair was straight while hers was perfect locks of waves. Her cheekbones were higher and that was what made her prettier. I hugged her tight as a little appreciation.

"Thank you, Tia."

She smiled and ruffled my hair. I laughed at her gesture. "Come. Before Mom's tea gets cold."

A year later, her beauty was consumed by the pallor from the disaster that had been hiding in her body.
