Sneaking Out of Heaven and into Your Heart

Chapter One: Awsten Knight

Awsten Knight had the right of way. When the light turned green, Awsten only looked both ways once before descending down the road. A fatal mistake he wouldn't make again. As Awsten was crossing the intersection, another car doing 130 on a 50 mph speed limit road came speeding into the passenger side of Awsten's car. It all happened so fast like the world stopped and started again, suddenly Awsten's car flipped over twice and landed upside down. Awsten was dead on impact, but he only thought he blacked out. All Awsten could see was a man that reminded him of his high school sweetheart Jawn Rocha but more godlike picking Awsten up and carrying him up to heaven. A few minutes later, Awsten wakes up in a big white bed in a marble house, the same man who carried Awsten to heaven is standing at the foot of the bed. The man speaks with cherry red voice,

"Hello Awsten, I am God and I'm just going to go straight to the point, you're dead." God drops his Jawn Rocha disguise to reveal himself,
"I disguised myself as Jawn to ease the transition from life to death because some people are scared to come to heaven, Jawn's here, do you want to see him?"

Awsten says yes on autopilot, he would give anything to see Jawn again after his death five years ago. God leads Awsten to a duck pond surrounded by clouds, cherry blossom trees, and a deep blue sky.

"Jawn?" Awsten was excited but a little scared to have a real conversation with him again.

"Hi, Aws-" Jawn was intercepted by Awsten wrapping his arms around Jawn and kissing him softly on his right soldier,
"-ten, I almost didn't recognize you with your red hair. The last time I saw you, you had purple hair, remember."

"No talking, I just want to feel your body again." Awsten mumbled into Jawn's right soldier, just loud enough for only him to hear.

Jawn's body was warm like Awsten wrapped in his childhood  blanket.
