The walls hushed in a pre-dawn stillness at 3 am, a biting cold gripping everything in its icy embrace. The aura felt crisp, each breath visible in the moonlit darkness like a fog.

You sat at the edge of your bed since you couldn't sleep anymore. It has been a long day of course, not only a long day but a long chronological leap.

It's been nearly a year since you met the older Eren. In the midst of these long months, a lot was encountered. You guys with the help of younger Eren blocked and won back the wall Rose and a hope in humanity raised not to forget that Erwin got enlightened by Eren.

Soon everyone joined the scouts and then went on a trip outside the walls, where the female Titan made chaos. You didn't go outside the wall that day because older Eren stopped you saying he could not let you go because he had something important to deal with and then locked you in a room, not letting you out.

You were a lot angry at him that day about this but then concluded that he must have done it to protect you since he claims that he can see the future.

Later in the while, he told me a secret that the female Titan was Annie, a soldier that resided in Eren's batch however he regained me from speaking this to anyone since it would disturb the future. He always had this condition whenever he informed me of future events and said the consequences could affect the well-being of your mother, henceforth you never took any step for it.

Well, catching Annie turned out to be a huge loss for Wall Rose but you didn't care since they never actually got the chance to see the suffering of the people of other walls who didn't have status and money as them.

After this, a whole new discovery transpired. Hange discovered that the walls were actually made up of Titans. That was actually shocking for you and when you asked Eren about what was the real reason behind it, he often adjourned speaking about it.

The most horrifying event was Reiner and Bertholdt revealing that they were the armored Titan and colossal Titan. Of course, Eren told you beforehand but you never believed him until they actually revealed them and then Kidnapped Eren.

You yourself went to the rescue of him with an emergency charge but unfortunately, you neither could catch any one of those traitors nor could you save Erwin from harm.

That day young Eren clung to you, all over the path back to the walls whilst you both rode the same horse.

You always wondered where Reiner and Bertholdt ran away in the midst of a forest filled with Titans. Whenever you ask the older Eren for answers he often declines saying he didn't know. This always made you wonder if is it really possible to have a life outside the wall and if this guy, the older Eren, who was willing to help you, came out of those walls.

Being close to Erwin ever since you were a kid made you feel sad about what happened but more than this it terrified you to your dreams under the impression of getting betrayed by your own people of the team.
That night Eren was with you, awake all night, holding your hand in his and caressing it to feel his warmth.

He was always there for you unconditionally and never asked anything in return. He cared for you and made sure you ate were, protected you, and never asked for anything else except sleeping beside you every night and letting him be around you.

You still never got to know his real name because whenever you asked him he often used to decline to your face.

"My name?" Eren's lips curved.
