Chapter 4: Maki & Takumi's First Date

Maki's Room...

Maki look at a picture while sitting on her bed. She slowly put her thumb on the picture and gaze at it with a lovely gaze in her usual empty gaze. Live started to appear in them as the memories of this picture appear in her mind. "...My first date...with Takumi."

Flashback...

"Come on! Hurry up!"

Maki watch as she was dragged by the excited boy who held her wrist. Earlier, he has insisted that the two of them go out in the City to spend time together. Something that was completely foreigner for her.

At one moment, Takumi paused with the girl before he point ahead. "How about there?! Maybe we can have some fun in this place!"

Fun...another foreigner concept to her.

Takumi and Maki arrived in front of a Arcade Game before the boy turned toward the girl. "Are you ready to play some Game?"

Maki nodded before the two of them enter in the Arcade. After that, they came across a fighting Game. Takumi and Maki played it, and she won. As a result, he pat her on the head. Maki feel herself being at peace at this gesture.

Then, they played a dancing Game. At first, Maki has some difficult to this. Until Takumi teach her how to dance properly. Maki feel her heart flutter at this gesture.

Finaly, they end up playing hookey. Takumi won the Game. Happily, he hug Maki before spinning her around. Maki feel her love blossoming at this gesture.

Soon, it was time to eat.

Takumi has ordered a coconut donut and a chocolate cake for Maki. They sit down on a table and started to eat. "This was the best date i've ever had."

Maki stare at Takumi while eating her cake. Something that he noticed. "Is something wrong?"

"...Nothing." Maki replied.

Takumi rose a eyebrow before shrugging. After a while, they finished. They goes to a store with a lot of interesting ouftit. Maki look at them with curiousity, something that Takumi noticed. "Wanna try them?"

Maki was taken back by the question before she nodded. They enter the store and try different ouftit, until they end up in one that make them look amazing.

Takumi wear a grey vest over a black shirt and blue pants, along with red shoes.

Maki wear a black mini vest over a black long sleeved shirt, a black skirt along with high socks that covers her legs, and black boots.

Takumi was taken back by what he saw. His girlfriend...is so pretty. He hug her, much to her confusion. "Woah...you were already beautiful in the past, but now? You're literaly a gothic goddess."

Maki froze as a blush appear on her cheek. She suddenly look down the ground with her eyes covered by her hair. Takumi kiss her on the head with a soft expression on his face. Maki raise her head and has a happy smile on her face before she giggled.

"Excuse me?" Takumi and Maki's head snapped to the side, annoyed at being interruped. In front of them is a man in a costume who has a camera in his hands. "Forgive me for interrupt your moment, but i'll need your help with something."

Takumi look at his girlfriend, sensing her building up frustration, and while he feel the same way, he wanted to avoid bloodshed. So he ask for more detail. "What it is your need help with?"

"I'm concurently trying to make a picture of a married couple, to put it in front of my store in order to sell my wedding equipement. And you two has the perfect profil." The man explained. "So with your permision, i would greatly apreciate if you accept to pose for me. Of course, you two will be paid."

Maki's anger vanished at the mention of the word 'married couple'. Instead, she feel butterfly in her stomach. She look at her boyfriend with a begging expression, something rare for anyone who know her. Upon seeing this, Takumi nodded. "We accept."

"Splendid!" The man smiled while clapping his hands. "This way, please!"

Later...

Takumi and Maki stood in the main hall of the chapel. Each of them wearing different clothings.

Maki wear a beautiful wedding dress with a bouquet of rose in her hands. Despite the lost look in her eyes, she looked absolutely stunning.

Takumo wear a black-clothed suit, that make him look like a bridegroom.

"Okay! Now it's time to take the picture! Are you ready?" The photographe asked, earning a nod from the two. "Alright, cheese!"

Right as the picture was taken, Maki and Takumi hugged each others with a lovely look. The photographer look at the picture and smiled. "Perfect! This is probably the best picture i've ever taken in my career!"

Later, on a hill..

Takumi and Maki watch the horizon as they feel the wind blowing. Right now, they wanted nothing more then relaxing in peace.

"Takumi..." Maki spoke up, making the boy in question looking at her. "Thank you...for spending time with me. This was the greatest day of my life."

Takumi smiled. "Same here. It was a real pleasure to go out with you."

Maki was silence for a moment, thinking about a certain moment fro earlier. The she speak once more. "Takumi."

"Hum?" Takumi look at her again.

"...Do you...think that you and me...would be a good married couple?" Maki asked curious.

"...Honestly, i'm not sure of what the future has in store for us." Takumi admited. "But i will tell you this. If there is one person with who i want to spend the rest of my life with..." He smiled happily. "That would be you, and no one else."

Maki's eyes widened in shock upon hearing this, before this shock was remplaced by another feeling. One she hasn't feel in her entire life: Happiness.

Maki turned toward Takumi, only to find him near of her face, to her surprise. Then, the two of them were lost in each other's eyes before they lean foward and shared a kiss. One filled with love and passion. After a short while, the two broke it off before sharing a look.

"Takumi..." Maki speak. "...You made me the most happiest person in a single day...you care about me...you always there for me...you love me."

"Yes, i love you, Maki." Takumi comfirmed. "And no matter what happen or what we'll become, i'll will always be happy with you."

Maki smiled. Unlike the others smile she usually wear, it wasn't filled with malice or killing intence, it was smile of happiness. "...I love you too, Takumi. From now on, and forever."

Takumi chuckle before they shared another kiss, as the sun dissapear in the horizon. Two soul who lost themself has found happiness in each others.

Present...

Maki smiled as she look at the picture of her and Takumi in their wedding clothings, her mind filled with nothing but positive though. "...One day...this will came true."

To Be Continued...

For this one, i wanted to take a different approche from the previous one. Instead of being a Side Story, it has a Flashback of the Story between Takumi and Maki.

I'll being trying to make it romantic as much as possible. Because like i've said in the main Story, people rarely give them any love to those girls, and i've being wanting to be the first one to do so.

That's why you can be sure that there will be a lot of romance between the five couple.
