Chapter 6: Maki & Miki's Birthday

Mansion...

Takumi and Hoshi walk toward the Mansion while holding their girlfriends' hands.

"Where are we going?" Miki asked.

"To a very special place." Hoshi replied with a smile on his face. "You're both going to like it."

"With a lot of Chocolate Cake." Takumi added, with Maki perking up at the mention of her favorite food.

A few moment later, the four of them enter the Mansion who is fully dark inside. Then, when they walked a few steps, the light appear and showed a lot of people. "SURPRISE!!!"

Maki and Miki were taken back by what just happened. Takumi pat both of their back. "Happy Double Birthday!"

"W-What?" Miki blinked twice before looking at her boyfriend. "Darling, what's happening?"

"It isn't oblivious? We're celebrating both of your Birthdays!" Hoshi explained with his arms spread.

"My...Birthday?" Maki asked with a shocked tone.

"Of course!" Takumi pecked Maki's cheek. "You're my girlfriend, Maki. It would be a shame for me if we didn't celebrate it."

"Takumi..." Maki look at her boyfriend with a touched look.

"But...why include me as well?" Miki asked with a confused look. "My Birthday was a few months ago."

"I know." Hoshi frowned. "But...thanks to some incident, we didn't get the chance to celebrate it. And i didn't want to act like nothing happen."

Miki put a hand on Hoshi's cheek. "Hoshi, you didn't have to do this. Just wishing my a Happy Birthday was enough."

"No." Hoshi shooked his head. "It wasn't. You're the love of my life, Miki. Forgetting something trivial as this isn't something that should be taken lightly."

Miki smiled before grabbing Hoshi's face...and kissing his nose, to his suprise. "Ah!"

"You're so sweet, Darling~" Miki said before giving another kiss, but on the lips this time. Hoshi waited a moment before kissing back...only to part away after hearing a cough.

"Sorry to interrupt you, but i think that it's time to start the Birthday Party." Takumi reminded them.

Miki and Hoshi blinked before parting away. "Right..."

After this, everyone enjoyed the party. Hyoki and Misaro prepared a special cake. Yuki and Kazuya danced together. Reki and Kimato shared a drink...without alcool, of course. Miki and Hoshi played their 'game', and Maki hit the pinata with Takumi. In at all, everyone has a good time during the party.

And now, it was time to open the presents.

Everyone gathered around the table to see Miki's present. Yuki clapped her hands. "Open it! Open it!"

Miki open the present and find out...a emerald ring. Miki and the others were stunned. Hoshi rubbed the back of his head. "I saw this emerald when i was visiting a cave, so i decided to take it because it reminded me of your eyes."

Miki say nothing...before she turned toward Hoshi and kissed him on the lips. After a few moment, they part away. Miki smiled. "Thank you, darling~"

Hoshi smiled and hugged her, with the Miki hugging back. Kimato turned toward the brown-haired girl. "Your turn, open your present."

Maki open her present and find out...a crown made of Crystal. Everyone was surprised by this, including Maki. "What...?"

"When i was visiting a city, i came across a store that sell rare jewels." Takumi explained. "So i decided to buy this crown...as symbole of union."
