"I don't know if this is an illusion or if you are real," I tell him

He walks up closer to me not leaving any room between our bodies as he brushes a strand of hair back behind my ear then tilts my head up and kisses me softly.

"Did that feel like an illusion?" he asks

I shake my head

"It felt like a blissful dream" I replied

"I promise you my little mate that I am very much real and I am standing here holding you in my arms telling you that we are mates."

The biggest smile anyone could etch my face and I stood up on my tiptoes and kissed him again as I raked my fingers in his beautiful curls.

"Yeah, you're real alright, 'cause I don't think my brain would be this cruel to make me hallucinate after the hell I've been through" I comment when I settle back on my feet.

"That hell you lived in will never happen again. I am taking you away from here, and you will be treated with respect by not only me but also the new pack that you will run alongside me."

I nodded and laid my head against his chest listening to his heartbeat.

a few of my old packmates are sadly going to be my new packmates at the Krypton pack. But I trusted Henry when he told me that the hell I was living would be over. and that I would be treated with respect.

When Alpha Dray found out who was leaving the pack he threw a little party to celebrate us finding out mates.

When he found out who was Alpha Henry's mate he laughed out thinking I was bullshitting him when I told him I was Henry's mate. Until Henry all but beat his ass when he found out about the alpha laughing at me.

I tell you that Dray cowered away like a scolded animal and whimpered as if he was about to be hit with a newspaper for bad behavior. He looked like he was about to have a heart attack.

Henry helped me pack up all my things which wasn't very much since I didn't feel the need to own a lot of things.

"Why do you have so little clothing and things?" he asked

"I don't have enough room for me in this tiny space much less clothes and other items I'd need or would like to have,"  I replied as I finished packing up the last of the two boxes before standing them up only for Henry to have some of his warriors come and load them in his car.

"Well your new bedroom will have a walk in closet so you need to have more clothes than what was in this pantry-sized one" Henry tells me

"Will we be living in the pack house or alone?" I questioned

"We will be in our own house unless you don't feel comfortable with being alone with me." he says

"For the first time I feel beyond comfortable, I feel safe, and loved. Being alone with you is no issue for me" I tell him

"Good then shall we go and leave this pathetic place behind?" he tells me

"Lead the way."

He takes my hand and walks out of the room that I once resided in. As we headed for the door some of the pack members started making grating comments about how my being mated to Henry was a fluke.

He stopped and looked at them.

"If I were your unprepossessing mouth shut, before I shut it for you permanently" Henry warned then proceeded out the door with me in tow.

When I tell you they shut the fuck up mighty fast I mean it. 

The whole trip to my new home was full of Henry and I learning of each other.

"my Wolve's name is Kal" he says

"Like Superman?" I asked

he smiled while nodding.

"Aww," I say

"what is yours?" he asked

"Vivian or Viv" I say

"like the girl from gone with the wind?" he asked

"yeah the actress who plays Scarlet" I tell him

he nods his head while smiling.

When we arrived he showed me where I was gonna be living which it was a house by itself so that we'd have privacy from the pack. but it wasn't so far that if anything happened it would take a long time for us to get to who was hurt or go where we are needed.

I had unpacked what I had and tossed the boxes no longer needing them.

"I seriously cant fucking believe that you lived in that tiny room which a shirtty matress, torn blanket and pillow. and a crappy closet." Henry says

"I'm just glad I wasn't sleeping on the dirt. since no one liked me there and I was kicked outta the orphanage due to me being to old. I'm actually surprised to have that big of a room I figured it would had been a broom closet." I tell him

His eyes flickered from his ocean blue to storm blue.

I walked up to him and started rubbing his chest while I looked at him.

"you saved me from that hell hole and I'm never going back there." I tell him before I carefully reached up and lightly tugged him down to me before I stood up on my tip toes meeting him half way before I started kissing him.

He hummed as he wrapped his arms around me and grabbed my ass making me gasp and open my eyes. which gave him free way to slip his young in my mouth as he lifted me up and held me in his arms.

I hummed and reclosed my eyes as I raked my fingers through his curls as I wrapped my other arm around his neck.

I was in love and I didn't want to ever fall out of love. I'd fight tooth and nail to keep this sexy man as my mate. 

I've been through so much shit and I feel like he's a gift to me from the moon goddess herself.
