It was late in the evening. I was ready to leave my office when suddenly my gaze fell on the parcel that was kept the entire afternoon there.

How dare he? I picked my blazer from the chair and exited the office. I am sure people may have been giving me looks for my anger but it's not my concern. I drove all the way to his office thanks to Google Maps and asked for an appointment at the reception. After a while I got a phone call so I started talking on the phone while facing the outside glass door to glance at the view. He is rich. I mean I am rich and I knew he was too but he is damn rich.

'He did what', he asked

'And he calls you what?'

'Mrs. Raghuvanshi."

'Oh he is daring"

'I don't care if he is daring or anything. Who does he think he is. I mean I know that he is the next king and a great CEO of his company but nobody disrespects meme and now I am at his office to vent out my anger. Advik I met him again once after all these years and he is already on my ner... "
I turned back and their he was smirking at me.
"I... I... I wi.. Will call you back. Bye"

"Can we get some privacy" He yelled and with his sound everybody left the place immediately.

"To what do I owe the pleasure" He asked slowly coming towards me.

"I.. I... Why did you send me your card?"

"Didn't you read the note"

"I did but there is no need for it. I can buy the amenities for myself" I started to fumble because I could not go back anymore.

"So you came here all by yourself just to say that to me? "

"And return this" I flipped the card on his chest and rather than accepting it he held my hand on his chest. My heartbeat raced and I knew he felt that

"You could have asked somebody else to do it"

"I know I could have but unlike you I have a heart and could not let somebody's life get ruined because of me. "

"Surprising coming it from you"

"For the last time Mr. Raghuvanshi I did not ruin akriti's life. I did not release her tape. "

"Oh so your phone accidentally had the video. The only reason I hadn't told anybody was because my family would be broken after this incident. My parents did not know you. Only dadi and dadu did. But they know about you form my grandma and I won't let a slut like you destroy my family. We may be getting married but I would destroy you."

"Then why are you marrying me? " I yelled with tears in my eyes.

"Third strike" In a moment he pinned me to the wall and kissed my neck. A sudden moan escaped ny throat and he released me by saying "my mark looks good on you"
What in the world just happened?
"Also I gave you the card because dadi said you need to find a ring"

"You need to find a ring for me. "

"But I don't have time to waste"

"Fine I would buy a ring from your card"

With that I left his office.
After entering my car I quickly checked my mirror and yep there was a hickey. The day before my engagement.
I barged into the nearest store and bought a simple  gold ring obviously with his card.
