"GAME DAY J.J" the 5'5 girl hears her best friend hollers from across the hallway while he's skipping to her locker causing people to stare at the pair oddly

Causing the boy to turn around and give them all even odder looks

"Anywaayys, what time are you going over to my house today so we can watch Mulan" The boy says turning back to the girl excited yet nervous to have his friend over considering the two idiots he lives with will be there

"Uhm. My dad said I can get I ride y'all after school as long as I have my location and ringer on" Jaylyn says feeling nervous that her Best friends family might not like her

"Yeah I'll tell my brothers you'll be going with us"

Now don't get her wrong she's sure they're nice people but sometimes people can be very judgemental and she just hopes they'll be anything like the 5'10 boy jumping up and down next to her excited about cotton candy and ice cream

To Pierce it's surprising to him that she hasn't met them yet
but he also feels thankful for that, knowing Hades isn't the nicest person and, that Atticus would try to hit on the girl the first chance he got

And with that the bell rang and the two headed off to there class which they shared seeming as though they shared almost  the exact same schedule

Lunch

Pierce said he would meet the girl outside at the tables in front of the school so that's where the girl went with an apple and her copy of
"Pride and prejudice"

"Your at my table"

The girl looks up at the figure blocking the little bit of sun that was hitting her seeing a 6 foot figure standing in front of her

"Okay Micheal Myers how may I help you" she replies with a sarcastic tone and smile

"Ha ha, very funny now get up"
The curly haired boy says

"How about you ask nicely and maybe I'll tell you nicely" she says already feeling tired of this boys attitude towards her for no reason

"May you please get up from my table" the boy says sounding so patronizing to her she just wants to punch him in the face

"Who even are you" the girl says not wanting to move

"Who are you I've lived in this town my entire life I have never not once seen you" he says sounding genuinely curious now

"I'm Jaylyn Argent" she says holding her head high trying not to seem intimidated by the boy towering over her

"Well Jaylyn Argent, I'm Dylan"
He says staring at her

Just as she was about to say something she sees pierce walk out of the doors

Looking back at Dylan the girl gets up and says "Well Dylan I'll see around I guess"

As the girl makes her way over to her friend she can't help but smile at the interaction with the boy she had.
