Emery's Perspective
First day back at this school, the school which made me hang myself. And I mean that literally. It's been a while since I've been gone, I mean I can hardly recognise most of the people here. Riley Fish is looking better than ever. I mean, I'm sure most of you expected I wasn't going to let go of him that easily. And plus, there's this new guy Josh. He isn't quite as good-looking as Riley but he's still fit. Luckily, the school said I don't have to do lessons today. So I can just wander free. Though, as I'm walking these halls, I can't help but feel like there's 2 of me. 2 different outcomes. One where I did what I'm doing now. Surviving. The other, where I actually died.
*the bell rings*
Oh shit, I've got to run. I'm pretty sure this is Riley's class.
"Emery, wait" said a familiar female voice.
"Casey?" I say as I turn around.
"Yeah, guess what?"
"What?" I say intrigued.
" Riley Fish got into an argument with Victor yesterday. Anyways, I gotta go to my next lesson, bye!"
"Bye" I responded instantly.
Their relationship is cracking and when it finally does, I'll catch the yolk and throw the shell in the bin. Besides, it's better a cheater than a loser.
