Aether's heart sank as he scrolled through the screenshots Heizou captured. It was disheartening to see how, after giving Scaramouche his all and helping him through his lowest moments, it had come to this.

He did so much for Scaramouche; he exhausted himself for him. He went the extra mile for Scaramouche and helped him stand on his feet. And for what? To see those hurtful words?

Did Aether mean nothing to Scaramouche? Was there some tool he used to his advantage?

While Aether understood Scaramouche's difficulty expressing emotions, this crossed a line - a line that left him feeling a profound sense of hurt.

Now, he questioned if he was being overly dramatic or if this reaction was warranted.

Just when Aether thought he wanted to make things better with the others, what if the others felt that way about him too?

What if they just liked him because they wanted to take advantage of him? Maybe he's stretching it, but you have to see where he's coming from.

After one of the only people he had considered his comfort person, Xiao, blocked him on all imaginable social media, from his contact to even PINTEREST, for fucks sake, he didn't want to deal with 'losing' someone again.

He's so fucking pissed and upset at the same time. How is he meant to feel?

Seeing a stray Venti heading his way was a clear and direct signal for him to head to his dorm, no?

Lumine's curiosity was a trait that had stuck with her since childhood. It led her to explore the contents of their neighbor's trashcan in the hopes of finding something valuable, given the neighbors' wealth. Another adventure involved venturing to an abandoned location at night, purely fueled by her curiosity about the unknown.

Aether often compared her to a cat, playfully referencing the saying, "curiosity kills the cat." Fortunately, Aether wasn't just her twin brother but also her full-time supervisor, keeping a watchful eye on her adventurous inclinations.

Today, Lumine found herself grappling with curiosity once again. There were discussions planned with Ganyu and Hu Tao, and although she had an idea of what it might be about... But what did Aether want to talk about? Oh, she can't help but feel even more curious.

Despite the intrigue, Lumine had already committed to meeting with Ganyu and Hu Tao, and the promise of a visit to a delightful cafe on their tab only heightened her anticipation.

Seated at a table in the cafe, the atmosphere was unexpectedly serious, especially coming from Hu Tao, known for her lively nature.

Hu Tao decided to cut straight to the point. "Do you already know about the drama between Xiao and... Aether?" she asked, acknowledging that Ganyu might not want to be the one to bring it up.

Lumine sighed, affirming her awareness. "I wanted to break his face when I heard about it."

"I'd have been your biggest supporter, cheering you on!!!" Hu Tao chimed in.

Ganyu interjected with a pointed cough, drawing attention. "Xiao... well, I have a feeling he won't be able to apologize, but I do believe he wants to."

"Expressing emotions isn't his forte, and, well, his ego is too high for him to bring himself to apologize," Ganyu added, shedding light on Xiao's struggle with expressing remorse.

"And we absolutely can't let that happen!" Hu Tao interjected with fervor. "As the ultimate Xiaother lover and defender, I'm determined — no, I will FORCE Xiao into apologizing to his wife!!!"
