'I would like to be called Dixie.'
"Dixie??" I say aloud.
'You said to pick a name so I did, are you going to judge me on what my decision is?' She or should I say Dixie says.
"N-no. I was just curious as to why Dixie? Honestly I thought you'd come up with something basic...like Jessica or Mary." I stated finally closing the book and setting it to the side.
'Well if you must know it's the name of the highway we would drive home to and from work back when we-'
"When I was alive...that's the highway where I would pick up the most desolate strangers to bring home." I say as flashbacks to those nights ring throughout my head. All the way up to the last one. That bastard.
'Your power responds well towards your anger.' Dixie randomly says bringing me out of the past memories.
"What?"
'I can feel your, our power buzzing as you get more angry. Sorry I brought up the past...' she says as I can start to feel her fade and leave again.
"It's okay...just part of life and hey we wouldn't be where we are now if I haven't kept pushing." I say and shrug it off as I feel her presence has completely dissipated. I got up from my bed and walked to my closet to see what options were available.
"Dammit. I barely have clothes since I've basically just got here not even a week ago." I say aloud facing the fact I mostly have ball gowns and tomorrow at exactly 2 Alastor is going to pop in here and expect me to be ready for our outing. Could the book help in a case like this? I mean it sounds stupid but hey worth a shot even if I'm aiming in the dark.
I close the closet doors and walked back over to the side of my bed with the book and sat on the edge of the bed; grabbing the book I started to flip through the pages looking for a spell that will help.

"Excuse me?" I started to skip through the pages just looking for anything that could be helpful.

Well there's that spell but I need something else maybe poof a dress into existence? I skip ahead some more.
