Chris Ali King 8:24 Am; Home July 2, 2026 *KK is 3 now ———————————————————————— "Kayvion, It's time for school!" I yelled from downstairs making KK run down the steps. I grabbed his little hand making sure all the lights were off before I shut and locked the door. KK ran to the car and opened the door making me smile a little.
I picked him up and put him in the car making sure his seat was secure. I shut the door and jogged to the drivers side opening the door and starting the car. "Why you so silent today?" I asked and KK shrugged.
"I'm tired," KK said making me nod. "You was playing on that game wasn't you?" I asked and he nodded before giggling. "A mess," I said laughing with him.
I stopped at dunkin to get him a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant and let him have some of a refresher I bought for him. Sariyah used to always drink these.
I drove to the daycare and parked my car. I walked around to his side helping him out and he grabbed onto my hand. We walked inside and I saw all the other kids playing making him run to Mrs. Riley.
"Hey surgarcup," she said giving him a big hug. "Hey, um just to let you know we don't have the daycare open tomorrow or the next six days following that because we are getting work done," she said making me nod.
"Okay, that's fine," I said to her and she walked away grabbing KK's hand. I signed him in before walking out of the building heading to the store to grab some flowers.
I got the flowers before going to the cemetery. I walked in seeing Sariyah's big head stone with her picture on it, smiling.
"I miss you so much Sariyah," I took a wipe and wiped it off looking at her beautiful face. "Our son is growing up quickly and shit I don't know what to do anymore, I thought he would grow up to look like me which he did but he got the best personality...from you," I said putting the flowers beside her name.
"Kayvion ain't been around, Ariana, Alexis, and Lena been holding your shop down but they been real quiet ever since you died. They barely talk. Kayvion still checks in on me and I just know him and his mom visit you," I said before my eyes watered.
"Why'd you leave me? I can't do this alone, I need you like really need you. I miss you touch, your smile, the attitude you always gave me, the kisses I received...that's all I want right now," I kissed her head stone.
"I love you so much Riyah, Until we meet again," I said placing another kiss on her head stone before standing up dusting my pants off. I walked to my car and headed to my tattoo shop.
I parked in my reserved space before heading inside seeing Naz, Draco, and Demented all working on tattoos. "Ty is here again for his coverup," Kamora said leaning over making me nod.
