My heart pounded in my chest, and I could feel its thumping sensation in my mouth. The oncoming car raced towards at full speed, and panic engulfed me. In response, my own car surged forward, and it felt as if time itself had slowed down.
The never-ending road stretched ahead, but I was trapped, unable to change my course. My entire body froze, refusing to respond as the approaching car loomed closer.
With a desperate grip on the steering wheel, I clenched my eyes shut, clinging to one final phrase that lingers on the tip of my tongue:
"Im sorry, I don't have any other
options."
Suddenly, the world turned upside
down, and I was thrown into chaos. My body swung forcefully, held in place by the tight grasp of the seatbelt. Bones collided with bone, and a searing, unbearable pain shot through every nerve in my body.
Finally, my car jolted to a halt, crashing down to the ground, leaving me hanging like a swinging punchbag, my head throbbing with each sway.
As warm blood trickled down from my head, a dizzying sensation enveloped me, making it feel as if I were submerged in water. The deafening ringing in my ears intensified, drowning out any other sounds.
The screech of brakes of another vehicles pierced through the disorienting haze, but before I could comprehend what was happening, darkness descended, consuming everything in its grasp.
