8. Danger..!!!

It's been 3 days since Rose talked with Prem. She couldn't reach him now. Calls directed to voice mail and her messages are not seen. She is so worried that she keep on pestering Boun about it daily. Even Boun is worried for the younger. Prem is not a person to ignore their messages let alone answer their calls. When asked Fluke and Earth, they said the same that they can't reach him either. No one actually knows Prems address except for the district he lives in.

Boun gets Prem's address from Uni administration on the request of Rose and decided to pay the younger a visit along with her. But in the last moment, Rose was held up because of an urgent work at one of her dad's subsidiary company she is looking after.

Boun alone goes to Prem's address and knocks on the door only to be answered by a cute little boy.

Boun: Is Prem home?

Nuea: Hello to you too P'Boun, I'm Nuea, younger cousin of Prem and no, Prem is not at home.

Boun: You know me? Where is Prem?

Nuea: Yupe. P'Prem is currently part timing in Rainbow Cafe near the lake on the way you came here.

Boun wasted no time and directly went to the cafe after thanking Nuea. He is shocked after seeing Prem and immediately runs to him. He drags Prem out of the cafe and bombarded with many questions.

Boun: What the hell happened and who did this to you Prem? Why can't we reach your mobile?

Prem: Hia, when did you come? How do you know I'm here?

Boun: Prem, those are not the answers to my questions.

Prem: *pouts* I fell from the stairs and broke my phone. I gave it for repairs yesterday, I may get it by tomorrow. What are you doing here?

Before Boun can answer, he gets a call from Rose. He directly gives his phone to Prem stating someone wants to talk to him.

Hello?

Prem? Is that you?

Phi Rose? How are you..?

I'm fine Prem. How are you?
Do you have any idea how worried we are?
Where the hell have you been without texting any of us?

Sorry Phi. My phone broke and your numbers are not noted.

It's okay Prem. I'm relieved to know you are safe. When are coming back?

I may come by the end of next week phi. I'm missing all of you guys🥺

Oww, my cutie pie, we are missing you too. It's okay Prem, 1 week will pass so quickly.

Boun says he will wait for Prem till his shift ends and orders a black coffee for himself. Prem protested at first but he secretly enjoy the elder's company. After his shift, both of them are taking a small walk around the lake. Boun asked if what Prem said is true? Prem said it is true but the elder is still skeptical about it. After a while Boun drops Prem at his house and left to the hotel they own in that area.

At night, while having dinner, Mrs. Shen asks Prem with whom he came home that evening. He says with a friend from Uni. Then she taunts him for telling their address to strangers and even bringing them here. She says he don't deserve food and tells him to go back to his room. Nuea protested but Prem silenced him and goes back to his room. He knows, if Nuea protests, his punishment will be much more and he didn't want it. He is already contented because of Boun visiting him earlier that day.

At midnight, after everyone are asleep, Nuea sneaks in to Prems room and brought him some snacks that he stocks up in his room. Prem said he is not hungry but the younger insisted he should eat something. Both of them talk sometime about this and that and Nuea goes back to his room to sleep.

The next morning, Prem woke up early and starts preparing breakfast. Jack comes down along with his mom and snitches Nuea for helping Prem with snacks yesterday night. Mrs. Shen becomes furious and grounds both of them for 2 days. Prem said he had part time job and he can't stay at home. She is more pissed and locks him in his old room (attic).

Boun again goes to the cafe and waits for Prem, but he is nowhere to be found. The cafe owner says he might be punished by his aunt again. Boun goes to Prem's house and knocks on the door. This time, his aunt is the one who opened the door. He asked about Prem, she says he went to a near by town on an errand. He left from there to their hotel. This happens for the next 2 days and now Boun is really impatient. He went to the cafe again.

Kat (Cafe owner): What happened? Still can't reach Prem?

Boun: yes, his aunt is saying he went to town for some errands and didn't returned yet.

Kat: When did start sending Prem to town? To my knowledge, she won't even send Prem out of the house except for school.

B: What..??

K: We thought he was lucky to get admission from the prestigious college. Atleast he can be free from the fangs of his aunt and Jack, you know his elder cousin.

Rose: Tell me everything about them.

B: Rose..???

Rose: Sorry, it took me a while to come here. There was so much work to do.

K: Let me get you both coffee, this may take a while. (she leaves from there)

R: You said everything is fine.!!!

B: I thought so too. He is covered in bruises when I first saw him. He told he slipped and fell from stairs.

Kat brings coffee and overhears it. She starts explaining everything to them.

K: He didn't slipped, Jack pushed him. Jack is always envious of Prem for his good grades and everything. He became furious when Prem got admission from your Uni. Because of Mr. Shen he didn't do much to Prem. Now Mr. Shen is not here and they may see this as an opportunity. If that's what Mrs. Shen told you about Prem, then I can guess they are ganging up on Prem now.

Wait, my brother is friends with Nuea, and he is here in the cafe. Let me ask him to call Nuea.

Kit (Kat's brother): He helped P'Prem with something and his mother grounded him. There is no use of calling him. His phone has been confiscated.

Kat: How did you know this?

Kit: I went to his home yesterday, P'Jack told me this. I can't even meet Nuea.

Kat: I think Prem might be in danger.

Rose calls Ohm and Kao to come there ASAP. They wanted to go to Prem's house now and rescue him but Kat told it may complicate things if Rose goes there as she is a girl. Also, even in the future, Prem has to come back here after his Uni. There is no way they are gonna make this any easier to Prem. Mr. Shen's presence and Nuea's warmth is what keeping Prem to put up with everything. She asked them to call Mr. Shen when things get complicated and gives them his number. Both of them didn't understand what that means but they took his number.

After 3 fateful hours, Ohm and Kao reached the hotel where Boun and Rose are currently in. Boun and Ohm decided to go Prem's house while Kao and Rose are staying there in hotel if there is an emergency.

Kao: You both sound as if Prem is kidnapped Boun.

Rose: IT'S WORSE THAN THAT KAO. Now let Boun and Ohm get to him.
