although jake just seemed to love daydreaming about heeseung, his secretary, park jay, just can't make that his priority right now.

jay is just always going on about how jake's the most wanted man, and that he shouldn't be making his crush on a literal police officer who's quite literally doing everything he can to find him and put him in jail.. but, whatever!

jake doesn't care, he has his goal set straight, alright. there's only one thing he desires..

other than tasty food, that is.

he only desires heeseung, and lee heeseung, and the hottest police officer, and that one person who's trying to get him in jail, and lee heeseung, and heeseu —

jake's phone then starts ringing. jake sighs picking it up. "what is it, jongseongie? can't you sense that i'm busy right now, actually, i'm with the love of my life right now." jake hums as he spins in his chair so casually.

"oh, is he up your ass right now? we both know quite well the only way you'll be with him is at the police station." jay says sternly over the phone.

jake doesn't even bother to give a response that.

"look, you do remember mr. seo, right? the other one, of course." jake hums in response. "i've done enough research — " jay then gets cut of by jake; " — threatening people with a gun to their head?" jake hums nonchalantly, knowing well jay's rolling his eyes right now.

"that's not the point. he had sent someone around a few months ago, someone who's now known as your bodyguard. they're currently collecting information and now are planning to kill you today." jay finishes up with a small but firm; "suho. kill suho." and ends the call.

jake sighs as he fixes his tie as he smiles brightly gazing at himself in the mirror. picking up the phone, he dials jay's number again.

"now, now. you forgot to tell me what my husband's doing right now" jake says all happily as he grabs a nice gun, humming as he waits for an answer.

oh don't get jake wrong, he's not so happy about having to kill anyone in the morning alright. but, thinking of what heeseung's doing is the thing that's making him feel all giddy.

"fuck off for once. lee heeseung was at a team dinner celebrating one of his colleagues first case at exactly 9:47 pm. it's evident he was annoyed and tired the whole time, perhaps even feeling envy. he left at 11:32 pm looking all disheveled and to a convenience store talking with a part-time worker — riki nishimura whos at the age of 22 — he's now fast asleep with 3 empty bottles of beer, and is still currently asleep at exactly 9:05 am in the morning despite the fact he has a job to return to. happy? now do your job, jake."

finding all this was completely and utterly easy for park jay. being jake's secretary meant he could do almost everything. and that includes finding out every specific thing about what a person was doing and is currently doing.

jake smiles acknowledging how heeseung's annoyed and is feeling envy because he hasn't put jake behind bars. "he's thinking about me often then." jake mutters to himself as he giggles and cups his own face, feeling his blush.

but it's completely gone after he narrows his eyes and remembers the person he's supposed to be shooting right now. jake huffs and fixes his tie once more as he walks out to the entrance of his room of the hotel.

jake certainly isn't at a hotel that's public, instead, he brought the whole hotel so he could have it all to himself. afterall, this place just so happens to be somewhere nobody would guess a criminal would be in.

it's completely and utterly guarded and has about three escape routes just in case someone happens to find out. at the entrance he's currently in, there's about five bodyguards making sure he's perfectly safe.

jake glares as he meets eyes with a certain one. suho. fuck whatever his last name was.

"suho!" jake says with a sudden smile. "how long have you been working here for me, hm?"

suho gulps as he answers.

"about six months, sir."

"ah, so you've been working hard? you've been waiting for quite a while, haven't you? poor you. but, what exactly are you waiting for? hm?"

jake goes on,

"is it perhaps til you're paid enough, or maybe til you have enough money, or even til i'm perfectly safe?"

jake murmurs coldly, his hands wipe off his non existent dust on suho's shoulders.

"or is it perhaps until you can finally kill me?"

suho's tremors and gulps are a lot more evident right now. jake puts the gun to suho's forehead and pursues his lips.

"your boss is fucking disgusting." jake adds before pulling the trigger. he grimaces when blood gets on his suit. "yuck! this isn't how i wanted my morning! gosh!"

jake groans and throws away the gun with a glare before he looks up at the rest of the bodyguards. "find someone to replace him." jake says with a sudden warm smile before walking away with a silent huff.
