~1~ start of the day

Zee was awoken from her sleep by her alarm chirping loudly, signalling it was time to get up for school. Reluctantly, she sat up and silenced it, the little green flashing numbers read |6:00 AM|

'Shit! I missed my first alarm!' She began to rush to get ready for school, which started at six fifty. She hurried to get up and brush her curly brown hair, which put up quite a fight.

She pulled a plain sage green tee shirt over her head and stepped into a pair of loose black shorts that went half way down her legs, when she checked the clock again it said |6:30 AM| 'i took thirty minutes getting ready?!' She rushed down stairs and to the cupboard, she looked for about ten seconds before grabbing a pack of Oreo's, than grabbed her lunchbox and backpack, pulled on a pair of black sneakers and hurdled out the door, running to her school.

'Oh thank the gods i made it!' The thought resounded in her head as she sat down in her first class of the day. 'If i were just a minute later i would have been locked out!' A loud screech came over the loudspeakers, making her jump. Soon after a voice came on, saying "good morning students! As you all know today is September twenty third, twenty twenty three. The weather is supposed to be sunny all day with very few clouds, so im hoping all of you enjoy the weather after school. Now onto announcements! The schools swim team is sta..."

the announcements were soon drowned out by zee's thoughts. She had defaulted to her favourite way to entertain herself at school: daydreaming. She began to imagine herself as a bat, swooping through trees in pitch black, feeling the cold wind biting at her nose and ruffling the fur along her body, being able to hear all the little sounds humans would miss like the small squeaks of a mouse or the quiet creaks the trees made as they swayed ever so slightly in the wind. She imagined herself as she swooped down and around a well, before shooting upwards and- the bell signalling it was now time for the first class of the day pulled her out of her head.

She frowned a little before picking up her stuff and going to her first class, STEM. She pushed her way through the large swarm on the stairs, once she reached the bottom it was smooth sailing down the main hall and off a tiny back hallway that lead to the STEM room.
They day went absolutely normal, each class in its usual order. She went from STEM to conflict and resolution, from Conflict and resolution To science, from science to lunch, from lunch to math, from math to ELA and finally from ELA to social studies. That day was a movie day in social studies, and the class had decided to watch 'Spider-Man, far from home' as it was the only good movie they would allow.

About an hour into the movie they had to cut off due to school ending. As zee began to head downstairs she was stopped by Alex, a guy who had a massive crush on zee and would not go away no matter how many times she turned him down. "Please, i promise im a nice guy! Just give me a-" Alex had started to go on another rant before zee cut him off "no. I have a girlfriend, now if you dont mind i have plans" she opted to run to be sure nothing would get in the way of her going to her favourite place; the Forrest. She went whenever there was nice weather, as long as she wouldn't freeze she was in the woods.

Today however instead of keeping to the parts of the woods she knew, where there were beaten trails and other people she decided to go to the part of the woods people avoided. The tree's were denser, animals usually kept to over there, and people thought wolves and bears were in there, but she was always curious what was actually out there, and besides, she kept a taser and bear mace on her. 

Alright imma leave the rest to part two, any comments on what to add to the next part will be honoured as long as it's not a huge change to my original plot.
