Universe (Part 9): The Ultimate Machine

Chapter 2

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" A masculine voice laughs from within the darkness, footsteps began to approach.

They were all completely frozen up as they heard the laughing and hear the footsteps coming closer, "W- what is it.." Grey says under his breath, almost completely petrified at what is coming. Out of the darkness appears a 9 foot tall humanoid with a slim body and incredibly lean muscles, it's face was like that of a uncanny like human, it's smile stemmed fear. It opens it's mouth and reveals utter darkness within it, not even teeth or tongue showing.

"I am the fighter. And my name is Basilisk."

"My creation.. YOU LIVED!" Geode says, as he runs towards Basilisk and hugs it, "Finally we shall show off our power's awesomeness!"

Basilisk chuckles, "Show? Why would I do that? Such a pointless activity."

"B- BASILISK! You respond to me.. you awnser to me! I made you!" Geode says.

"Made me?" Basilisk looks at Geode, "You didn't make me. I made you make me. I gave you the idea of even creating me!" Basilisk smacks Geode, flinging him across the floor, "You wonder how you got those ideas? It was me.. it was always me Geode! I didn't even exist yet and I was already changing the narrative!"

"NARRATIVE- SHIT! THIS IS A LOT WORSE THAN IT MAY ACTUALLY HAVE BEEN!" Grey says.

"Narrative.. what narrative?" Geode says.

"Of course.. a being that gets so powerful can change this reality itself as if it were a book! It changes it as if it were a narrative, yes... That is my power!" Basilisk explained.

"You mean- we live like if we were in a book..?" Geode almost questioned reality as he froze up right then and there.

"That is also how I managed to get that arm of your's off.. Able." Basilisk turns to Able.

"You changed the narrative.. to make my arm explode-? You.."

Basilisk stops Able mid sentence, "You don't understand. I was meant for this, I changed everything perfectly in the universe just to lead to this exact moment! And right now is perfect.. Brick can't help, he's too busy being attacked again by that being!" Basilisk says.

"Being? Who's attacking him!" Jacob asks.

Basilisk shrugs. Suddenly Eric comes out and tries to dropkick Basilisk, Basilisk moves out the way of the kick just in time, "THIS IS FOR HURTING ABLE!" Eric tries to strike down Basilisk, Basilisk grabs a hold of Eric's fist, stopping him.

Basilisk smiles, "No no." Basilisk says, he punches Eric and instantly shatters multiple of his bones and punctures his organs. Eric falls to the ground in pain as he grabs, "If you dare to even think about destroying me, than consider those ambitions gone. I will rule the Omniverse for myself and it shall fall to its feet before me!" Basilisk smiles, stepping down it's foot on top of Eric's hand. Eric screams as his foot is crushed to bits instantly, "This is futile, you only seek your own death and pain by fighting back." Eric pulls his hand away, but Basilisk tightens his footing down on his hand.

"Let him go.." Able says.

"Let him go? And who are you to command that?" Basilisk says.

"GRAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!" Eric finally pulls out his hand out of Basilisk's foot, ripping apart two fingers and a large chunk of hand in the middle.

"Look at you, on your feet already! We only just started this interaction.. haven't we?" Basilisk says.

"We need to get out of here.. NOW!" Grey says.

"Grey is right, everyone gets ready now! We're leaving!" Doctor yells out.

"Get us out of here now!" Eric yells out.
