Heatwave breaks up with (Y/N). Blades finds out and tries to comfort her.
Heatwave didn't think he'd love a human. Now he's realizing he's falling out of love for them. He heard this is the worst part of a relationship, even for Cybertronians. He hates the idea of hurting (Y/N), but they'd be more hurt, realizing Heatwave is faking his love towards them.
(Y/N) knew something was up by looking into Heatwave's optics. She's learned that the bots can be sad, but why was Heatwave sad? (Y/N) got her answer and couldn't believe it. Heatwave wasn't sure if he should leave, but he leaves (Y/N) sitting on the couch anyway.
Blades walks out of the elevator, immediately seeing (Y/N) looking like they were told bad news. He sits on the floor before the couch and tries to get (Y/N)'s attention.
"What happened?" Blades asks once (Y/N) looks at him. He couldn't believe he's hearing that Heatwave had broken up with her. Uncertain what to say. Blades scoops (Y/N) up and holds her on his chassis in a hug, "I'll be here for you," he assures her.
Blades isn't sure what else he can do.
A few minutes pass before (Y/N) asks to be put down. Blades watches her start walking.
"I love you, (Y/N). I'll be here when you're ready," Blades says as (Y/N) heads for the elevator. Immediately knowing he shouldn't have said that this soon after the breakup.
(Y/N) can't think about what Blades said. She's still hurt over Heatwave breaking her heart.
