After Sarina and her father had dinner, they all went home and Serena was excited to open up and play with her new games and system. When Sabrina and Marcus saw that all of the bags and new things were just for Sarina they felt left out and spoke up about it. "Mom, dad-why did you just take Sarina shopping? What about us?!" Sabrina whined out
"Over the last five to six years we've always gotten things for you two-never your sister because of you two always wanting our attention. We realized yesterday that Sarina barely had anything in her room and wanted to change that. Especially since your grandmother had given us two thousand to spend on all of you each. We already spent the money for the two of you throughout the years-unlike for Sarina. So we took her out today after her court date." Their mother said seriously "Now leave your younger sister alone, go get yourselves ready for bed you two have school in the morning."
Both of them huffed out annoyed and did what they were told as Sarina was placing her games away and taking the bags of her stuff up to her room. Once she had everything in her room, her phone went off which she answered not noticing who it was when she answered the call. "Sarina speaking."
"Hey...I saw you at the mall earlier with your father. What was that about? It looked like he actually cared about you and your interests."
Sarina stiffened hearing Itachi's voice. "Why are you calling me so late, and why do you care?"
"I was just concerned for you that's all."
"Yeah well I don't care of you're 'concerned' for me. I don't feel threatened where I live right now so my life isn't your concern." Sarina said before she hung up
Sarina then placed up her posters and she placed her clothes away in her dresser and closet filling up the empty spaces in both. She then charged her PSP as she played it until she fell asleep with it in her hands. The next day when Sarina woke up she placed her PSP down and she went to get something to eat as she checked her phone only to see that she had gotten a message from Mikoto. she smiled at the message before she went to find her parents.
"Mom...papa, Mrs. Uchiha got back to me."
Her mother smiled. "What did she say sweetie?"
"They can come over on Friday night."
Her mother placed her hands together. "Perfect! Come with me to the kitchen, let's make sure we have everything for that dinner."
"Okay ma." Sarina said with a nod of her head
The two of them went into the kitchen and as they were going through the list that Sarina remember her father came into the kitchen. "So, what is being cooked that night."
"Chicken french." Sarina stated looking at her father. "Mind playing with fire that night?"
Her father looked overjoyed. "Sounds like a good plan to me."
Sarina giggled a bit. "Papa you're a little too eager."
"I enjoy playing with fire." He said with a grin and a shrug "So what are you having be made with it?"
"Potatoes and veggies. I was also thinking I can make a pie for desert for that night and make a sweet bread to go with the dinner that I learnt how to do in Tech when I was in Tech."
"That sounds like a great idea, do you have everything you need for that?" Her mother asked curiously
Sarina looked around and she shook her head no "I need a few things."
"Write a list and I'll get what you need." Her father said with a smile "I've never seen you be this excited to do anything, so I want to make sure you're encourage to do what makes you feel happy."
