Sasuke tilted his head to the side. "I am not. What the hell makes you think that I'd ever do that to her?"

"You hated her before, now you're dating her. Do you see just how messed up that is?"

"The only reason I acted out how I did before was because of bull shit lies that Sabrina and Marcus told me about her, after I stopped listening to their lies and got out of boot camp last year I spent time with her last year to really get to know her-unlike you who chose to be the asshole of the century to her. Ever since last year around Christmas time I've actually had the crush from hell on Sarina but she was still stuck on being around you. It wasn't until I noticed just how bad things had gotten for her that I chose to step in and help her out since obviously you have no plans to man the fuck up about being around her."

"You can't seriously think you can handle her."

"Why do you make it seem like being around Sarina is a chore? Sarina isn't that hard to be with if you actually have a heart. Which obviously you don't since you've done more harm than good to the poor girl."

"You two aren't going to last till Christmas, just wait and see."

Sasuke shook his head and he went downstairs where he saw that Sarina was shuffling the cards as Sabrina was waiting patiently. "You took your time coming down." Sabrina commented

"My idiot brother stopped me from coming down." Sasuke stated

Sarina rolled her eyes. "If he thinks he can be back with me after he epically failed to understand my feelings a week ago he has another thing coming. I'm rather comfortable where I am right now with you." She said as she looked at Sasuke

Sasuke looked at her stunned. "Really?"

Sarina smiled and nodded her head. "Really Sasuke, I love being with you Sasuke."

Hearing those words made him smile a bit more than he had as he sat between the two girls. "Well I'm glad to hear that Sarina, oh by the way Sarina...Sakura thinks she can sue our family because of that stupid fight. She ended up hurting her hand when she had fought you that day."

Sarina raised an eyebrow at him. "Wait what now? She's the one that jumped on me. Not the other way around."

"Yeah I know, I have already let our parents know and they're all over this nonsense. Apparently they were waiting to see if Sakura's family would do something stupid before they'd counter sue them for what happened with you. Sure they could pay the bill for what had happened with you for the surgery but it shouldn't have happened especially since you did nothing wrong." Sasuke explained

"And how did you come across this information?" Sabrina asked Sasuke curiously

"Sakura came up to me today at lunch with this smug ass grin saying that Sarina and I will pay for what happened a week ago to her. She'd get her 'justice' in court when they'd find out what all happened."

Sabrina rubbed between her eyes. "Stupid bitch..."

"Right? Luckily a classmate of ours recorded the entire thing. I'm going to ask him for the video so it can be used against her." Sasuke said as Sarina had dealt out the cards.

Sabrina raised an eyebrow at him. "Who?"

"You probably know the guy, a male by the name of Sai."

"Oh the creepy kid who always has a damn camera with him?"

"Yeah the one and the same."

Sarina shook her head as she flipped over the first card in the pile. "Brina go first sissy. And as for the whole court thing. Sakura isn't going to get anything but probably time in juvy. What she did was assault."

Sasuke nodded his head in agreement. "Let's hope the video that Sai had caught is clear enough that it shows just what all happened."

As the three of them played the game Sabrina and Sasuke realized just how close sighted Sarina had became due to how close she had to have the cards to her face and the fact that she had to pick up the last card just to be able to see what was placed down.

It was four days before Sarina was able to get her new purple glasses, at that time she was able to go back to being in the kitchen at the tech. While she had been waiting for her glasses to get done she wasn't allowed to be in the kitchen where it would have been dangerous for her to be without her glasses. She instead chose to get caught up with all of her back work which wasn't hard for her to do since it was all things she knew how to do. The day she came back into the kitchen she had been hugged by Karin who was happy to see her back in the kitchen.

"Oh it's been so boring without you around Sarina! I'm so glad you're back!" Karin said happily

Sarina looked at the elder female flustered. "Um...Thanks Karin?"

Suigetsu laughed a bit. "She's been pissy since the two of us have had to do things on our own without you. By the way nice glasses."

"T-Thank you Suigetsu. Were the two of you told why I had to get these?" Sarina asked curiously

Both of them shook their heads. "Mrs. Uzumaki just told us that you were having eye problems." Karin explained

"It wasn't that I was having eye problems, some brat I used to be friends with jumped me and beat the crap out of me making my eyes swollen so much that I couldn't see out of them. So I had to have eye surgery. I had to wait an entire week for them to heal before I was able to get glasses." Sarina explained

"Why the hell did some kid beat you up Sarina? You aren't confrontational." Suigetsu said confused

"Well, it's because she has been eyeing up someone who didn't want to be with her who instead wanted to be with me. She didn't like that the male chose to be with me instead of her just based off of her appearance and mine. The dude doesn't even care about my appearance, he cares about how I treat other people and him. Obviously the female has a few screws loose which is why the male I'm with now is with me instead of her."

"Can we get a name?" Karin asked curiously

"Sasuke Uchiha."

"you mean the younger brother to Itachi Uchiha?" Suigetsu asked

She nodded her head. "We're around the same age so I don't see the problem."

"Well fuck, that lady really much be off her rockers to beat you up over a guy like that." Suigetsu said shaking his head

"No kidding." Sarina said with a nod of her head

At that time the teacher came in and smiled seeing Sarina in the kitchen. "Sarina welcome back, I'm glad to see you now have your glasses. Today is going to be different from what you all are used to. We're going to be having guests in the dining hall, the guests are from culinary colleges across the state. All of you will be making something for them to try and be judged by them only a few of you will be picked out for scholarships. Any questions?"

Sarina placed her hand up, "Yes Sarina?"

"Unlike the rest of the people here I'm not a senior...what if I'm picked for a scholarship?"

"Then you'll know you have a bright future in culinary. You can accept or decline it once you graduate."

Sarina nodded her head. "Okay."

All of then then made different things to impress who was outside in the dining area. Their teacher told them how many people were waiting outside that way they could portion things properly. One by one by last name they were told to go out with what they made. When it was Sarina's turn she brought out everything in one trip until the others who took many trips. She placed things down on an empty table and served everything without a word. Once everyone had their food she introduced herself.

"Hello, my name is Sarina Sanchez. What I have made for you all is a home made macaroni and cheese, as a side I have prepared garlic bread that has medium grade cheddar cheese mixed with the garlic butter."
