Day 1: Passed Out

"Yeah, GO DANI" Julie yelled.

I looked over at her and gave her a thumbs up.

When I looked back towards the water, I saw the wave going over me.

I was not gonna make it out of this one.

The wave made it over me and crashed down with me in it.

I fell underwater and was being tossed around by the waves.

I couldn't breathe, but I also couldn't fight my way passed the waves to reach the surface.

I was drowning...

§§Julie's POV§§

"Oh my gosh, DANIELLE" I screamed as I watched her get pummeled by the waves.

"Oh shit" Jack G said covering his mouth with his hands.

I heard everyone that was watching gasp. Other people were still paying attention to the damn music and bonfire.

A few seconds later the waves were still going and there was no sight of Danielle.

"You guys, do something" I started to tear up as I jumped off my board and unstrapped my ankle.

The rest off the boys started to unstrap their ankles and put their boards by the shore.

"Wait till the waves die down Julie" Nate said grabbing my waist and pulling me back.

A minute or two later the waves were gone. Danielle has been under the water for almost 4 minutes.

I started panting and walking back and forth on the shore, as Jack J tried to calm me.

"She is gonna be fine Jules" He said stopping me in my tracks.

"She is my best friend, if she gets hurt I don't know what I'm gonna do" I looked up at him as tears fell down my eyes.

"Stop, you're too beautiful to cry" He wiped away my tears. I smiled at him, but still had Dani running through my head.

§§Sammy's POV§§

I should've stopped her before she road that wave.

"DANI" Nate and Jack G yelled walking deeper in the water.

I followed them as so many thoughts ran through my mind.

She is so beautiful and I just met her. I cannot lose her yet, not until I tell her how I feel.

"Dani" Jack G yelled pulling her and the board out of the water. He was way so deep in the water that he had to swim his way to get her.

I turned around to see that the music was turned off and everyone was along the shore, looking at us.

"IS SHE OKAY" Julie ran out from Johnson's grip and over to us. He followed her.

Gilinsky made it to the shore and he pulled her body onto the sand. She looked unconscious.

§§Dani's POV§§

I held my breathe as long as I could under the water, but I could not stand it anymore.

I started to choke on water and then everything went blank.

§§Scott's POV§§

"Danielle" I yelled running passed the crowd.

I kneeled down next to her, Julie, a blonde boy and dark haired boy.

"Oh my gosh, someone needs to give her CPR" I snapped at everyone.

All the kids were now crowding in a huge circle around her.

"Yo, yo. Give her some space to breathe" A tattooed guy yelled.

Everyone slowly backed away and two other guys kneeled down by her side.

I got up and stood behind Julie, who was on the verge of losing her mind and bursting into tears.

Julie grabbed Dani's hand and a tear fell from her eyes.

A boy with dark hair and thick ass eyebrows started to give her compressions.

I winced as he put hard pressure to her chest.

"Oh, Dani" Julie smiled as Dani began to choke out a whole bunch of water.

§§Dani's POV§§

I choked out a whole bunch of water and felt a relief in my throat and chest.

I looked up to see a concerned Jack J, Jack G, Julie, Sammy, Scott and Nate.

They all smiled as they saw me open my eyes.

I sat up and looked around. All my classmates were in a huge circle around me.

"Are you okay" Nate asked.

"Yeah, that wave washed me out pretty damn good" I said rubbing my head.

I heard giggling and when I looked to see where it was coming from, I saw Carla and Anna.

"That's because she doesn't know how to surf" Anna whispered to Carla, but everyone heard it.

"Shut the hell up and stop being a jealous bastard. She can surf better than you can fucking speak" Julie said getting up and pushing back Anna.

Anna stumbled a little and went to push Julie back.

I quickly stood up, a little dizzy. I ran in between them.

"STOP, this is a Summer Vacation for all of us. Carla, Anna, drop your bullshit and Julie, you know what Mrs.Susan told us" I strictly said back and forth from them.

"Yeah, I guess. They just need to leave my best friend alone, or someone is gonna get an ass beating" She rolled her eyes and walked back to the Jacks.

"What time is it" I asked.

"7:02" Jason said.

"Well then let's finish this damn party and have fun" I laugh.

Everyone cheered and turned the music back on.

"Let's surf" I started running back to my board.

Everyone turned away from us except Julie, Jack J, Jack G, Nate and Sammy.

They all ran back into the water and got on their boards.

"Dani, I think you should just stay out of the water" Sammy said gripping my wrist softly.

"Come on Sammy, let's have fun. This is probably the only time I will see you" I half-smiled.

"I hope not" he frowned.

"Just please be careful" He placed his arm around my waist.

"I will, I am just a little rocky from not surfing for 2 years".

"Well let me help you" He grinned.

"Okay, come on" I kissed his cheek and pulled him into the water.

We both got on our boards and started paddling out to the others.
