Isabelle walked into work the next morning.

"Morning, Miss Garcia." Rio greeted as he was getting a drink.

"What can I do for you?" Isabelle asked.

"Yeah, I got some cars comin in today from up north." He informed.

"What sort of cars?"

"Blue ones, green ones... You know."

"Well, it's full here." Isabelle said.

"Yeah, these are for me, though." Rio nodded.

"What do you mean?"

"You know, you don't gotta worry about all that stuff. Just stay in your little lane. I am gonna need you to deliver me one, though, yeah?"

"What did you put in the cars?" Isabelle asked.

"Why I gotta push ten different buttons to get a cappuccino?" He chuckled. "Mocha? No. Vanilla? No."

"What's in the cars?"

"What's in the box? What's in the box? Just bring em, all right? It won't be good for nobody if you don't. Love what you've done with the place." Rio said before walking off.

***

Isabelle dropped the car off and got into
her own car.

"Hey, there he is." Ruby said as they saw him get a girl out of a car. He hugged her and kissed her cheek. She got in the car and Rio leaned down and she kissed him.

"Sweetie, it's probably just business." Ruby assured.

"Yeah. What do they say, you know?"

"Can you just drive." Isabelle told Annie.

***

Isabelle was at home when she looked out the window to see Rio sat on the bench in the garden.

"Where is it?" He questioned.

"I trusted you." Isabelle said.

"That's your fault."

"They're Beth's cars." Isabelle said.

"My money."

"My dealership."

"Where is it?" He asked walking up to her.

"Not here." She replied and he put the gun under her chin.

"I think this thing with me and you has run its course, yeah?"

"Well, then you won't get your pills."

"I got more coming." Rio told.

"Not in Beth's cars, you don't." Isabelle said.

"Where is it?" He asked again.

"I'll tell you when you cut us in."

"Oh, you think you're special, huh?"

"You need me." Isabelle said.

"But you ain't nothing. I don't need you."

"Go then. Go and buy a sketchy lot down on Carson, use fake cash, staff it up with gangbangers. That won't look suspicious at all. How long until the feds show up? A month? A week? They're already watching you. They just need a reason. You need me so they don't find one."

"Yeah." Was all Rio could reply with before walking away.

***

"Cars will keep coming in from up north. All you gotta do is get em to the appropriate parties for distro." Rio told her.

"And what are we talking about?" Isabelle asked.

"Thirty."

"Oh, come on." Isabelle said.

"Excuse me?"

"My name's on the door."

"So what?"

"I have more to lose."

"Forty." Rio said.

"Do you want your pharmacy back?" Isabelle questioned.

"Why don't... Why don't you just tell me what you're looking for?"

"Fifty fifty." She replied and he smiled. "Assuming you're buying generic Canadian with your typical drug dealer markup, your profit margin should be at least five times what I'm making washing your fake cash. And if it's not, you're doing something wrong and I'd look into that."

"You look good behind that desk."

"Thank you."

"Yeah, you'd look so much better on top of it." Rio told her.

"Do we have a deal or not?" Isabelle asked.

"Mmm-hmm."

"Great."

"Where is it?" Rio asked.

"Gratiot Mack." Isabelle answered.

"Storage unit."

"Keys to the kingdom." Isabelle said.

"All right." Rio said and walked to the door.

"Oh, by the way, I would have taken 40." Isabelle said and he left.
