𝗚𝗜𝗚𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗔𝗜𝗥 as I continued to dance and down shots. Music blasted through the speakers, I danced along the tables, the alcohol hitting me perfectly. I downed more and more shots, giggling and swaying my hips. My party was going great, my friends were all laughing, dancing and having fun. I was dancing on the table with Vic, giggling and laughing with her. Thomas was making Ethan dance around yet Damiano was nowhere to be seen.  Vic and I were swaying and drinking our vodkas when I heard a loud noise. "Woah Mrs Lewis you're fucking amazing!" One of my friends from school cheered, my head snapped around and I saw my mother.

She was acting like she was one of us, a sixteen year old. She was dancing with some of the girls and boys from my class, making out with them, downing shots. My gaze was glued to my mother. "Girasole, what's wrong?" Vic softly asked me in my ear over the music. I didn't even hear her, my gaze was still on my mum. She was a drunken mess, she was so up for me to have this party- it all made sense. "M-Mamma?" The words croaked out my mouth, she started kissing all my friends, grinding on them, laughing with them. "Mum!" I sternly said, yet she couldn't hear me, no one was listening. I screamed, "Mum!!" Yet it was no use, no one was listening to me. I felt my breathing speed up, everything echoed around me and...and.. "Marlena!" A loud voice said.

I snapped back into reality, Franky's fingers were caressing my hip. "Marlena, are ya okay babe?" Franky asked softly. I blinked as I tried to forget about what happened on my sixteenth birthday. I leant back into Franky's arms and hummed softly, "Mm yeah sweetie I was just thinking about a song that's all." I lied softly, kissing her lips gently. She pulled me closer onto her lap as I decided to start scribbling some lyrics down to another idea. Little did I know it was a few of the lyrics to what would be 'LA FINE.' "Do you feel ready to turn 22?" My girlfriend softly asked me, kissing my ear gently. I dramatically declared, "No, I feel old! I'm gonna start hearing things and getting a ton of wrinkles." I fell into her dramatically and she kissed my neck with a giggle. "Wait till you hit 29 then come back to me, I'm nearly 30." She teased, I went to retort that she was beautiful and still as young as ever when my phone rang.

"Who is it babe?" The Aussie asked me, I checked my phone to see that my dad was ringing me. I let out a loud sigh, "Just dad. Doesn't matter." Francesca tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and softly said, "Answer it baby, it might be important." I rolled my eyes, I hated how she always pushed me to talk to my dad. She never listened, I feared they had some dumb agreement or something. "Sure, sure, fine." I huffed getting up and heading towards my bedroom.

"𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗡 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗚 home?" My dad gravelly asked me down the phone, I sipped on my wine and sighed. "Never if I had it my way." I snapped softly. "I can't believe that you're still hanging around with those pathetic friends of yours. I've always said to you that they're bad influences. Drugs, drinking, playing that stupid rock and roll music. You're English, not Italian." My father snarled to me down the phone, I took a deep breath and drank more of my wine. "They're not pathetic they-" I tried to fight back yet my dad cut me off. "When are you coming home?" He repeated sternly. "Dad I said-" I tried to say once more, yet he cut me off once more. "Do you really think that they care about you?" Philip hissed to me as I sat down on the edge of my bed.
