Niko's POV:

Over the next month Mark, Derek and I settled things peacefully. Mark had Addison arrested for what she had done. There would be a trial later over it. The hospital also fired her that next day as well.

When Mark came over Derek and I showed him all the proof. He cried when he realized what all Addison had cost him.

We e came to agreements. Mark was going to move to Seattle and as David was so young Mark was moving in with Derek and I until David turned five. That way we three could co-parent and be a united front.
He understood that Derek was also David's father and always would have a say. He was grateful to know that Derek had been there for me when he couldn't be.

We e had a legal agreement made over not only custody but adding Derek officially as an adoptive father and third parent. My poor son now had three last names, Gibbs-Sloan-Shepherd. We agreed to keep it mainly Gibbs though.

Mark understood he lost all chances of being with me romantically ever again. Once he fully acknowledged and even threatened Derek to take care of me, we all settled into a very good friendship.

When Mark moved in he understood any relationships that were not very serious, he would have to use a hotel or their place. Once he found someone to truly be with then we would discuss things on whether they could stay over, move in or he would get his own place.

My family took all the changes better than I thought. Though both Uncle Leroy and David were very proud when Spencer punched Mark, without breaking his hand, for cheating on me in the first place. Mark took it all and stride.

The three of us quickly fell into a well-working routine and good family and friendship relationship. Mark adored being a father to David and being co-fathers with Derek. I was glad they had their friendship back.

Mark was also an attending at Seattle Grace now. I made it clear to him no sleeping with the nurses here. He pouted but agreed knowing I was right.

He, Derek and I would drive to work together everyday. Some people thought it was weird, our family Dynamic, but we ignored it.

The three of us saw trouble heading the hospital's way when Izzy apparently fell in love with a patient. We all knew it wasn't going to end well. Boy where we were right.

Preston and I together, along with Alex, flew off in a helicopter to Mercy West to collect transparent organs. Preston was getting a heart for Denny, the patient Izzy had fallen in love with. I was getting a liver for my patient.

While I was waiting on my liver arguing broke out over the heart. When they finally had settled it enough that Burke was going to head back to check on the test for Denny, I rode back with him in an ambulance.

The whole way back he told me how he thinks Izzy did something to force it and make sure that Denny would get the heart. We both know this could end badly for the hospital.

As we got out in the ambulance bay and were walking into the hospital both Burke and I yell out and shock in pain as we were shot.
