(Thomas' POV)

I thought of the call I had just made to my wife. The limo was silent for the rest of the ride to the studio after I put my helmet back on my head. When we finally got to the studio, Gui jumped out first.
-Coming?
He asked. It took me a few seconds to think about what we were getting into but I finally replied with a moan.
-Coming...
I stepped out of the limo with a second thought. When did we book the studio? I asked myself. We walked up to the giant doors that read national record studios of Paris. We had been here a few times but not as much as other famous artists like justice or Madeon.
-Gui, when did we book the studio?
I asked him, still wondering why exactly we were here.
-uh, I might have booked it yesterday morning... After I woke up.
He replied not knowing what I would say next. I didn't say anything. I just kept looking at the studio doors as if it didn't matter to me. It was silent for a moment until I pushed the doors open. A clerk sat at the main desk, ready to allow artists to use the studios. I looked at Gui. We both still had our helmets on and we couldn't tell the clerk who we were. In the good old days we would just walk in and wave and we'd get in. It had been so long since we had been here that the clerk had changed and we didn't have our Id cards or our manager with us.
-Hello
He said to us. We did''t know how to reply and I didn't just have my old suit where I could just type in what I wanted my helmet to say. I waved hoping that the clerk would say something helpful.
-Wait... You're Daft Punk right?
The clerk asked as if he knew who we were.
-wow! You guys haven't worked on anything for years! Hows the documentary going? ... Right. Well anyway, make yourselves at home. I'll give you the key to studio 23.
Gui jumped with surprise. He hadn't heard that name in forever. It was like the clerk knew everything! We waved goodbye to the clerk and headed toward the elevator. We stepped into the empty elevator. All was silent until Gui looked at me. He took his helmet off and there he was. Old again like me, only he hadn't shaved or washed himself since before the "adventure". He almost looked homeless. I took off my helmet and started laughing.
-What?!
He asked with sincere confusion. I couldn't stop laughing.
-Y-You didn't shave this morning?
I asked while trying to calm down.
-No... I didn't have time ok?
He replied angrily. By then I had calmed down and an awkward silence filled the room. Suddenly the elevator stopped and we stepped out, holding our helmets in one of our arms. We walked down the hallway past studios 20,21 and 22 then finally came up to the door that read 23. Just by looking at the door, so many good memories popped in my head. On the door was an old alive poster from 2007. It was old and peeling but it meant so much to me. I put my hand on the door as we stood in silence. I could tell that the memory was running through Gui's head too. I grabbed the key.
-Ready?
I asked Gui quietly with a big breath.
-I always will be.
He replied as I put the key in, twisted it and pushed it open with ease. The door swung open and we couldn't believe our eyes.
